    We go to slightly unusual places - off to Nepal and Bhutan in April, for example.
    I had a12-month esim, but my phone died (and was replaced FOC) but that esim was voided. It may have been possible to 'port' it, but far too complicated.
    I want to buy a 365-day esim, with lots of countries and ability to make phone calls as well in as many places as possible.
    What do you recommend? And do your esims only work on the phone on which they are activated (generally tied to that phone's serial number) if one needs, for any reason, to replace the phone?

          We found T-Mobile to be the "fastest" in the city area, in terms of coverage we would choose Verizon or AT&T.

          Note if you are getting an eSIM only iPhone will work on Verizon and AT&T

    Looking at europe-uk-turkey-esim-35-countries 20GB for my ipad air

    Then going to USA for about 8 days.

    Any recommendation on any other products? I have a prepaid optus sim that has 7 days for $35 which i'll probably use on my phone.

    Last time i went overseas for about 2 weeks, used prepaid optus sim as data but still had my telstra sim active and used wifi calling for telstra to call back to au.

    I do get calls on both sims so not sure if i want to keep changing between them with a roaming sim on my phone.
    Anyone in a similar setup with 2 active au sims but also want to get some roaming data using sim from here. How do you manage it?

    I may not have my ipad with me at all times otherwise i would just hotspot off it and not even use any data on my phone.

      First one is a Polish operator = which can access TikTok and Chatgpt

      Second one is a HK operator = cannot access TikTok and Chatgpt

      Both uses Telkomsel network, however the 3HK one also has access to Indosat.

      If you are going to Zone 2 as well you will have a separate allowance for Zone 2 countries.

                @TravelKon: Thanks I was considering buying one LTE and one KDDI, but I think I'll go for 2 KDDI then so we can both access any site we want to and still have 5G access with no restrictions

    Hi there,

    2 of us will be traveling to Europe from the end of August to the end of September 2025, to turkey, Greece, Italy, Malta, Montenegro, and Croatia. Which sim card do you think would cover all these areas for around this length of time? My partner can use eSim while I need to go with physical.

    Had pretty bad experience with redeeming the rewards point. Convert 100 points to $10 worth of credit, auto-applied successfully at checkout, total amount was clearly $10 off, and then full amount was charged on credit card. Not sure if this is a temporary glitch or has happened to others.

    Hi for the "Asia 5G eSIM 10 Countries (Include Japan)" (https://www.travelkon.com.au/product/asia-esim-10-countries-…) it says:

    • No ID registration needed (registration is required in HK & Taiwan)
      • Activation required in HK & Taiwan, you will receive a text message with the KYC link upon arrival, click the link and follow the prompt – passport upload will required

    Can you please confirm whether that means that the eSIM must first be activiated in HK or Taiwan? Or can it be used in other countries without HK/Taiwan (ie can i use it in a Singapore/Japan only trip)?

      You can use it in Singapore and Japan with no ID registration.

        @TravelKon Argh, I thought all European esims lasted only a month, didn’t realise some expired end of the year! I’m travelling in August, any chance of getting a DM as well? Have used you guys before, can recommend!
