20x4.0" Tires with hub motors are such a pain when you get a flat. Difficult to change tyres, also expensive and not easily available.

You're better off spending more money and getting something with a mid-drive motor and standard wheels.

    Speaking from experience.

Got a flat on my ebike with tyres like this. It's honestly not that hard. Watched a YouTube video and all good. I think I got tubes online for $20 a pop-up but yes limited places sold them.

Correct if you're the compliant type. Will work fine for everybody else.

There is pushing the law a bit, and there is "look at me I lost my driving license, but its OK to have an unregistered, uninsured motorbike".
But there should be a way to register these as mopeds, cheaply, if they meet basic safety standards and keep off bike and footpaths.

The comment below, I agree with his statements.

What if you are a compliant type? It is safer for the user and others to not even think of buying these. Have you seen how irresponsible people are with these? Either you are living under a rock or you are blind to reality.

Should not be permitted to be sold. In breach of rules limiting the power to 250w.

Garbage marketed to bogans who know nothing about bikes, but maybe have a suspended license.

"off road" and "20 inch wheels" do not belong together. 4" tyres are good on beach sand, and crap anywhere else.

Folding bikes with small wheels are meant to be light, but this is 38kg. A Frankensteins monster of a bike, like it was designed by Homer Simpson.

    • The disc brake it uses most likely is too garbage to stop a thing of that size in case of emergency braking too.
