Upgraded (V4) of the JisuLife Neck Fan Life3. Upgrades compared with the Life3 seem to be a neck mount to prevent vibrations/sticking, and also a more flexible band. Reviews on their own website claim an increased runtime, despite having the same battery capacity. Probably a good cheap option whilst waiting for JisuLife to come out with one that includes a well-made Peltier cooler/plate. Sunny blue colourway only.

Dunno about v4 but v3 I found uncomfortable at faster speeds, the vibrations on my collarbone were uncomfortable.

I think the new neck mount in this model should prevent that.

Looks like it would help, though my wife used the v3 and said she didn’t have the issue as the ends of the fan were not on her collarbones… I guess it depends user to user.

I recently got this one from another jisu life deal - I think it works better when lanyard mounted however it bounces around as you walk , kind of annoying too. For seated use is great and also good for quickly cooking meals for kids haha

I have one of these but always wondered how the newer lanyard version measured up. Was worried about the movement you mentioned and why I was interested in this product instead. Will post back here to let you know how it is once I get it :)

V5, a compartment to put my snacks please. @jisulife

  • can I go on a run with these? will it stay or fall off?

    • +2

It shouldn’t fall off, however it will feel uncomfortable as the fan will bounce up and down hitting your collarbone each time.

Doesn’t the wind resistance from running already fan you?

      • it's more to keep the flies at bay during summer. one of my fears is I'll accidentally swallow a fly :D

      • If you are fast enough, it will!

    • u might have better luck with PVA Cooling Towels - the one I got from amazon isnt avaialble anymore but i felt like it worked quite well even when there is not much breeze going on - great for runs/walks/garden work (especially the garden work as it also keeps dust / sweat off my neck as it flares up my eczema).
