Outright Android phone budget ~$400

Hi
Need to replace my Huawei nova 3e. Have budget of around $400. Can I get a recommendation for an outright android phone. Main use to stream bluetooth music during work, 8 hours so good battery life? Has sdcard slot. I dont need anything fancy. TIA.

Only negative is - no dual sim. Hard to manage while traveling abroad.

  • Nothing Phone (2a) is $399 but no SD slot.

  • Poco x6 pro

Motorola g54 (if you can still find stock), or other cheap moto ones IF you dont care about super high quality camera.

otherwise just get Samsung A series like shxhsz said above.

Do not get Xiaomi if you care of privacy and not willing to root/custom rom on it.

Don't bother buying any phone then. Xiaomi is not an outlier here

  • Oppo X5 Pro, if you can find one that cheap. Otherwise, seen one selling for $500, as new.

More, indeed, but with better configuration and better support than the $400 options.
