  • Cashback for Everyday Market from Woolworths is eligible only on items that display the orange Everyday Market logo and "sold by" branding. Cashback is ineligible on any grocery items, packaging, tobacco, and delivery subscriptions.
  • If Woolworths deem reseller behaviour is taking place to gamify the cashback system, cashback might be ineligible.
  • Important: When a cap is specified in the cashback rate, it will apply per member and/or per Woolworths customer for the length of the promotional period. As an example, a $100 cap running alongside an increased cashback lasting 3 days will allow for a maximum payout of $100 per member and/or per Woolworths customer for the 3 days of the promotion. Woolworths can decline transactions at its discretion based on these terms. TopCashback has no control over this process.

I assume this isn't a widespread problem since it's not talked about more but I've had all my Everyday Market cashbacks declined from all 3 cashback services

    • +5

I've seen plenty of these woes on here so I'd say it IS a widespread problem.

    • +1

I'm pretty sure it happened to quite a few people on one of the previous threads. TA offered to follow up for those that contacted him, not sure what was their outcome

      • +2

Mine is being resolved. Shopback ones in sept finally got approved on 20th jan. others in dec are still being sorted. So it is a huge pain in the ass to follow up and its woolies end issue.

      • I made two transactions in the pre-xmas high cashback from Everyday Market, both with $100-200 in cashback through TopCashBack. One was declined, one was not (still in pending). TA was able to get the declined one resolved and it's now showing in a confirmed status.

It is a pain that Woolies is declining valid cashbacks; that it seems to be reasonably widespread really sucks, idk whether it's incompetence or malice. However I'd still be happy to give it another go as it seems to have been resolved happily enough.

    • i had mine decline as well.. for 2 transactions..

I'm waiting on $52 cashback from the start of November after buying airtags from WW Everyday Market. Also waiting on Top CB sign up bonus linked to the same purchase. Fingers crossed it gets paid.

    • I received my Everyday Market cash back late last year, total $174 without chasing it up

    • +2

My cashback claim ended up invalidated because I had also accepted the $10 off for first purchase that was offered at the Everyday Market checkout. This counted as an extra code.

      • Same, fighting it at the moment on both fronts, not getting very far. Nobody really takes accountability for how poorly integrated the cashback services are with the shopping websites they link to. Any issue and it's just finger pointing. Just like if you try to apply two different codes in your cart and it says you can't use both and doesn't let you proceed, it shouldn't let you use a discount code that will invalidate your cashback claim (at least not without telling you and letting you make an informed decision). Otherwise you're left finding out your cashback is rejected when it's too late to return the item with no recourse, paying a price you were would not have paid for it, and with nobody seemingly giving a toss about helping or fixing it for you. It seems you have to buy assuming you won't get the cashback (so don't buy something you wouldn't have bought regardless) and then if you get cashback that's a bonus.

    • TCB declined my Cashback after from Bigw through Everyday.

Despite meeting all the T&Cs, I had mine declined at end of last year too, have disputed, but it can take up to 3 months to resolve!

    • i'd say minimum 3 months to resolve lol

    • Same here … from November.

    • my November tracked around $90 and few days later they just changed it to $0

      • Just wondering which cashback company do you mean? I've only experienced correct tracking changing to $0 with ShopBack multiple times. Had to contact GYB to fix. Thought it was unique to ShopBack. Haven't had this $0 tracking with TopCashback or Cashrewards.

Don't bother with everyday market for now. It's hit and miss. You will hear some people got approved but just as many rejected. Basically you're gambling. This is not a dig at top Cashback either as it's spread across all Cashback sites.

I guess Woolies is losing too much money paying out Cashback on behalf of the sellers, and trying very hard to minimise actual payouts while still putting a semi-regular 30% off sign on their store to grow market share.

We're all pretty experienced at reading conditions for Cashback, so this is getting close to fraud on Woolies part.

      • +1

        100% agreed

      • +4

Agree, misrepresentation at a minimum and false advertising. ACCC should add this to the list of dodgy behaviour Woolies are being investigated for.

      • +2

Yes. I've got more than $10,000 in cashback across the three so i feel like i have a pretty good idea of how to use cashback correctly. I've never really had any problems with them. The few issues i've had, besides everyday market were always quicky rectified.

The small bit of comfort you may have using topcashback as opposed to the others is TA is pretty active on the site and helpful. The shopback rep however, is MIA with this issue.

      • +1

Yeah, to have so many valid cashbacks rejected does seem like active malice at this point. Although they're putting a cap on cashback this time so maybe it will be better this time… I'll probably give it a go.

      • Also look at the change of conditions and now a lot of market place partners are now no longer selling as much

  • In the market for AirTags. But reading all these comments is putting me off.

Take a chance and be prepared to lose the money but most likley you will get it so long as you fight for it. Weigh up if your prepared for the mental strain to take on this challenge of life

    • to save $30? i'd tell you your time is worth more

  • It says Cashback is ineligible on any grocery items, packaging, tobacco, and delivery subscriptions. What is considered grocery items for cashback purposes? Are these considered grocery items even though they have orange everyday market logo?

  • All cashbacks are too skimtrack things.

My woolies cashback has been tracked with TCB for almost 3months but no payout yet.

  • I got some hoselink stuff at a massive discount - paid out fine.

I have some Everyday Market cashback on both TopCashback and Shopback. They both paid out my orders cancelled by seller but not the completed orders. I guess they don't have any idea about the tracked order numbers. The tracked order number is automatically generated by Woolworths but after the seller confirms the order, the original order number will just disappear and replace by an order number from the seller. However, by searching the original order number in Woolworths app, the corresponded order will still be displayed but without any mention of the order number.

Also, the order number is not included in the invoice but only in the file name of the invoice.

These might be the reason the payout for Everyday Market has lots of issue

  • Bought the Great Wave Lego from the Gamesman, $173 should come down to $120 if cashback works ok, now we wait and see…

Bought a pack of airtags in November, still waiting for payout. Topcashback website showing 15 weeks to payout.

  • They honored my purchase last time, even tho that's a loooooooooooong wait.

But not gonna take the risk this time, also no idea what to buy.

  • Having a lot of issues with Woolworths 2 out of 5 orders last time got cash back declined due to Woolies end with my orders being stuck in a status of preparing for delivery. Everyday market place support is useless. Been back and forth for over 1 month and issues still not resolved.

So in my experience the issue is woolies and not cashback site.

  • The TCB claim page is a bit confusing. It says the amount entered must be pre GST otherwise the claim would be rejected. I put in my claim a few days ago for declined order in November. The cashback had been tracked and calculated on full retail price, so entering the pre GST price gave an incorrect result. I entered the full amount paid and the system correctly calculated the cashback due to match my history.

Also, despite my history showing the transaction as Declined, the TCB claim summary showed the cashback amount as paid (or approved, or similar). Now for the wait pending investigation.

    • Mines the same too.. but i just submitted it anyways (saying i got credited when i haven't been)

  • Not looking healthy by the comment sections…

  • mine got declined too. i had purchased a lot xmas lights through thinking cashback will track and it did. only to be declined later. absolutely not worth your time and effort.
