What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback for Everyday Market from Woolworths is eligible only on items that display the orange Everyday Market logo and "sold by" branding. Cashback is ineligible on any grocery items, packaging, tobacco, and delivery subscriptions.
  • Any orders made from outside Australia or perceived to be made from outside Australia (ie. using a VPN) will have cashback declined. This is at the discretion of Woolworths (not TopCashback).
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchase of gift cards and/or use of gift cards for payment.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Purchases made through 'Everyday Market from Woolworths' will register in your TopCashback account as 'Woolworths Groceries'.
  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • Always return to TopCashback and click through via the pink cashback button to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.

Good to know

  • Ensure you disable plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole & VPNs prior to clicking/tapping from TopCashback as they will prevent your order from tracking.
  • If you cancel / return / exchange / modify your completed order, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.

  • I bought a PS5 form Gamesmen and a Controller from Big W all in one transaction but later Big W cancelled order for the controller. Will I still get the cashback? It’s already tracked.

    • I'd reach out to TA or Top Cash Back - see what they say.

    • Past experience. If one item cancels the cash back is voided and becomes a PITA.

      This is why I'll always split up the transaction into the main thing and then another for the sundry items.

      Good luck with the chase if it gets rejected.

  • After reading about the PS5 cancellations (Big W), I checked my Junk folder - shipped with Couriers Please around 3pm. Ordered ~ 0820.

  • I just used up all my remaining everyday rewards points from the 20x points on my Apple purchase. & paid the remaining on my card. Bought a $843 outdoor lounge set with coffee table. Only paid really paid $493 (as had $350 in reward points) was $843 total. So if I can get this 30% I’ll get the maximum cashback which is $250. So paid $243 for a 7 seater outdoor lounge set with coffee table. If I don’t get that $250 cashback tracked ima cancel this lol. If I do I’m a happy chappy.

    • Yesss 1hr after ordering it tracked. It actually comes up as $253.18 cashback lol although I thought $250 was the cap.

  • 24 hrs later the order for the PS5 from The Gamesmen has been cancelled.

  • Yep, mine was cancelled too through Gamesmen and yet it's still available to purchase through the shop back 28% off deal.
    Why are they allowing people to purchase and then cancelling?
    Just list them as no stock available.

    it is a switch and bait by them (Gamesmen). They want to supply the accessories but not the device when the big cash backs are on.

    I'd placed 2 orders. 1 for device and other for the accessories (controller, charger, remote, stand, game). I'll return all that extra stuff and they can bugger off.

    They can cancel our orders, we'll they can deal with my returns.

  • I just had a few become declined status relating to this promotion, when followed all the rules for ordering.
    Curious if others have the same issue in them suddenly becoming declined this week. I've raised enquiry for mine now.

We know that Woolies declined quite a number of transactions (across all cashback publishers) just after Christmas and most were due to code use (EMNEW) and for cancelled/exchanged/changed orders. Some were also declined for having a VPN enabled, which is against the terms as stated on our retailer page.     My cashbacks for PS5 controller: $25.20 and PS5 slim: $200.69 declined.
    Purchase made and successfully tracked on 22/11/2024 but updated to rejected on 03/01/2025.

    Claims tracked fine, but I've just discovered one $113.7 cashback has been declined by Woolies. Submitted a claim so we'll see how that goes…

    Did 7x transactions.. 3x got updated to declined on 3 Jan 2025, another 2x just got declined today 6 Jan 2025.

    I had 4 purchases, all have now been rejected. Seems to happen way too often with these cashback deals. I've sent TA a msg, but seriously having to always chase them up is becoming tiring.

      Same happened to me with Shopback. It not their fault, it's Everyday Market. Have to remember if the cashback is declined, SB/TCB also don't make money.
