  This is the Russian version. It requires VPN activation and has always been much cheaper than ROW version.

    And activation doesn't even seem that bad - why pay twice the price for an AU key if once installed in Steam it plays identically???

  When I activated my Russian key days after release (for ~$20), I didn't need a VPN and it came with both English and Russian versions.

  You only need a VPN to activate the game according to the site, as mentioned in previous deal.

  As leonheart1 said, I bought Borderlands 2 from CDKeyPort awhile ago now, and didn't need a VPN to activate it. And I got both the normal and Russian version.
