Definitely can't say I was expecting a pedestal fan when I clicked the link
It's search engine optimisation gone too far
Does look good, but yes what a load a cobblers. Second only to Dyson for BS about their fan products.
It's pretty good considering there's no "AI" in the name
That's next model, with Bluetooth, 6G and nanotech
It has Ai twice tho
And it has nine blades. They hired the marketing genius from Gillete.
I've had one for over 3yrs, still quiet and operates for days at a time, never had a problem with it.
Back in my day this was called a pedestal fan.
Air circulators are to be aimed at a wall, or corner, so that you set up air circulation around the room. So its more of a slow breeze.
Whereas fans are meant to be directed at you and blast the heat away.
You can use either for both purposes, but an actual circulator does do the circulation thing better than a normal fan.
I have both in my room, if its slightly warm and stuffy, I use the circulator. If its hot, I have the fan blasting right at me.
This one is definitely more of a fan though.
So the forced air that leaves an air circulator knows to keep going but air that leaves a fan just wants to stop after it hits you. Well , I’m sold.
Could it be used to push air con cold air down a hallway into a bedroom without aircon?
I wish Xiaomi still made their fans, I have two that are amazing and were only $80 each, I just need one more… sigh I might need to get one of these.
I has mifan 2 for around 4-5 years, still as good as new. My other cheap fans got clicking sound after few years.
U mean this one?

Looks the same except the fans blades, this could be the newer model. My one same as 2s minus battery. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/516913
They do…
Although I have a 2S and three 3.
They changed something in their production. The most recent purchase they are no longer silent. I even warrantied it (frankly it wasn't fit for my purpose) and the replacement was identical. I wouldn't trust them any more. I wouldn't call it noisy but I won't sleep with it next to me or WFH with it in a silent room
Thats a fan, baby.
I have this along with 2 other Vornado 633DC. I must say the Vornado performs way better. Buy this if you want app control
And cheaper too even after this discount.
I have 3x 633DC , but there's no way to make them smart is there ? Like something over the dial ?
this one is cheaper and with same function. It works well for me. https://www.amazon.com.au/Philips-Ultra-Quiet-SilentWings-Te…
I got this one, it's fine but the motor hum is noticeable.
I have this, decent, it's actually very light weight, comes with a remote, I don't use app control. I like the fact that it pushes out a decent amount of air while being a reasonable noise level/pitch. Though in saying that lately I've noticed it's developed some kind of a ticking noise with the fan at lower speeds 1 - 3 (it has 8), not enough to annoy me much.
Someone else has jumped on the Vornado bandwagon….
….no doubt people will still lap it up.
Ask yourself - do you even Ozbargain?
Shark and a few others, including KMart are now pushing Air Circulators
Ceiling fans are still the best of all. And AC models cheap enough that landlords will install if you are renting.
The AirDynamic 3D Connect Air Circulator - That's a lot of words to call a fan.
I bought one of these a few months ago for a similar price to combat a poorly placed aircon (the room is an L shape, and it's at the bottom of the longer line in the L, facing the top of the L.. if that makes sense) and it's been, well, FANtastic, a real game changer.
You really notice when it's off or turned around by a toddler as the air just feels stagnent. I thought the 'nature' mode was a bit of a gimmick at first but honestly, it's quite nice to have running at night time when you're sitting on the couch relaxing, legitimately feels like a gentle breeze every now and then.
My only complaint is the up / down oscillation points directly up to the ceiling which, in my case, is absolutely useless and just detracts from the amount of time it's pointed where it needs to be pointed. On top of that, I love that it runs on 12v. I have a power station set up to be a 12v UPS for a router, NBN NTD and now the fan so when we have a power outage, we still have air moving around the room, this might be my favourite thing about it.
I’ve got this fan, pretty good use it in the baby’s room.
Only annoying thing is the height it’s very short compared to other pedestal fans.
What in the unholy of marketing sh*t dribble is that product name…
