Don't waste your time! Read comments from other deal.

And this deal where most didn't track at the correct amount and OzBargainers have to chase up Shopback to get it corrected. Not worth the hassle.

  • +3

Should be removed under the “unobtainable deal” reason. Sorry OP, but I’ll be negging every ShopBack deal until they clean up their act.

  • +3

Yep. Ban ShopBack from Ozbargain until they resolve existing issues with cashbacks being declined. Negged.

Same cashback didn't track correctly nor did it fix itself for both Coca Cola and Chemist Warehouse deals

I’ve just had the “pleasure” of dealing with their bots trying chase up the monkey shoulder deal, they put you in an endless loop, i kinda feel scammed.. what are these guys doing? Happy to lose customers over saving a buck?

Shopback has been notoriously bad since its inception - particularly for upsized cashback deals - but I still gambled with them recently and got burnt again.

Why do people still support this company? Who are only big due to their extensive marketing on OzBargain and we are the ones who have helped them become a household name?

Don’t waste your time they won’t track

  • +1

As already stated people are wasting both time and money using Shopback

  • Even if it tracks they can still choose not to approve it. Had Chemist Warehouse purchases during Black Friday with Bank Bonuses, tracked correctly with the right amount then zeroed / denied in a couple of weeks. Contact CS via email and it took them a month to confirm they're not approved for no particular reason (they vaguely blame things like antivirus, ad blocker or browser etc - but that's only for transactions that didn't track). I've been a loyal user since their beginning but no thanks now.

  • shopback not tracking monkeys, Ozbargain should ban them…

  • One "positive" I will add, or I guess neutral, is that while my bonus cashback didn't track initially for the previous 30% deal for Coca-Cola @ Coles, I did contact GYB and he got the bonus amount added to my account. Hasn't reached Approved status for pay-out yet of course, so watch this space I guess and make up your own mind how much rigmarole you are prepared to go through.

Hi everyone, sorry to hear about the concerns raised here. If you’ve experienced any issues, please DM us with the details, and our team will be happy to assist. We’re here to help make things right for you.

The main problem I think @gotyourback is it’s impossible to get help from ShopBack when you are not around. I can see why you put the bots in but they are truely frustrating and horrible. There needs to be an option to contact a real person, directly or via email. That option is gone and so is the trust I used to have.

That and your deals need to track properly in the first place :p

In the app it says ends 27th so I placed an order for 6 10 packs expecting to get 14.25 but it tracked at 0.22! What a joke

  • Every store I looked at has "unavailable" for 24 pack diet Coles but I can see them in store..

  • +1

We shouldn’t have to DM you thru OzBargain, your app system is broke with the stupid bots. Besides that why should we have to chase untracked products

  • I've been in an email loop with them since 24/1
I've received an email today after supplying them with the receipt.
It's in writing now that they are claiming the deal never happened.
If anyone has a screen grab of the deal I'm happy to take this further.

    Dear ShopBack user,

Thank you for your kind patience.

We have gotten updates from our internal team.

As per checking, there seem to be no specific Cashback for Coca-Cola on 2025-01-23. Below are the Cashback rates:
    Order <$200 0.20 %
Arnotts Bluey Snacks Chicken Multipack 100.00 %
    Order $200+ 1.00 %

Hence we are unable to appeal the $11.55 and we apologise for it.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope this resolution serves you well. If you have any further inquiries or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to support you.

Wishing you a fantastic day ahead! 😊

    Follow up from previous message.
I contacted Coles on their message chat on +61 429 989 656 (we've chatted to them about some small matters re delivery). I akso messged the Shopback person on the message above directly …
Low and behold… Despite receiving an email from shopback today saying there was no deal.on the 23rd Jan, I now have the $11.55 showing in ny account.
I just demanded my cash back.

Let me know if you need help.and I'll help.

The trick, remain cordial but demanding and a mention ACCC and that you'll.go to Coles.
In going to suggest to Coles that Shopback is hurting their brand and should go elsewhere.
