  • Order confirmed but can’t cancel accessories. No worries, will take to local Samsung store when I get them. I’ll keep the magnetic case and the chargers, and return the other cases.

    To address the matter regarding cancelling accessories:

    After I received the confirmation email, I proceeded to login into Samsung account and went to Your Order.

    I clicked CANCEL and it will then show a dialogue box showing what you ordered (in my case, 3 items).

    You can select the accessory you want to cancel and you do need to give reason which I put as "Change of Mind".

    Upon clicking confirm/ok, I got a confirmation dialogue box saying the accessory has been cancelled and subsequently received an email confirming the cancellation of the accessory. If you return to Your Order again, it will be shown the accessory you selected has been cancelled but NOT the others. I am still getting my phone and its anti-reflective film.

    So it seems to be working. The next step is obviously confirming the accessory amount has been TRULY refunded through your choice of payment (eg: Paypal or Afterpay or CC) and if it does, by how much (fully or otherwise).

      • Ok doesn't work for me because I just got the phone and a keyboard cover for my S9 Ultra tablet. Cancelling selects both items like others have said.

        • It would seem like if you have Phone - Accessory 1 - Accessory 2 selected in that order sequence, then you can cancel Accessory 2. Selecting Accessory 1 would select the phone as well. Does this sound like what's happening?

          • @burningrage: Yes that seems to be the case as I'm reporting the same behaviour as 0 0 0.

            Would seem like you need two accessories for this to work, but doesn't that mean you can't completely cancel ALL accessories?

            • @LostyJai: Yes. But that's a lower damage because had you chosen anti-glare (the cheapest accessory I think), then you would still be in the money by $180+. Now that I think about, if I want to eventually put protective silicone, do I still need this anti glare lol?

      • You do need to wait for the confirmation email which I received literally 15 minutes ago on an order I made at lunch time.

      It seems to be the top accessory or first accessory you choose which removes the phone. I was lucky and could remove the buds and case as not needed but I needed to keep the glass screen protector.

      Hope that makes sense but select the cheapest accessory first so it shows up under the phone in the order break down.

        • yeah prob not. Sorry for the confusion. I usually buy glass ones hence the error. I could remove my case and buds but not the SP or it ticket the device also so I kept it on there.

        Can confirm this is also what happened to me. I succesfully cancelled my second row accesories but not the first one as it will tick the phone as well

          Which means if you are going to engineer a refund, need to select the Phone and its needed accessory FIRST (eg: Case, protective film, etc) before choosing the elective accessory which will list as the 3rd in the order sequence which you could then select for refund without affecting the first two.

    • Were you able to cancel all accessories?

      • I had two accessories. The anti glare and the Bud3 Pro. I would have been able to cancel them all had I wanted to but I wanted the anti glare. I successfully cancelled the Bud3 Pro. Now just waiting for confirmation from the payment method company.

    • it seems you can cancel the order if you had more then 1 accessories in my case i only had the watch so not able to cancel it some guys had different accessories so they are able to cancel it

    • Yes it works if you want to cancel the whole order if you only have the phone and 1 accessory.

    • Is the "$1 Trade-in value for Samsung S9 (cracked)" you just listing the S9 in the trade-in, and expecting it to only get $1 value? I have a S20+ with a damaged screen (Affects visual and touch). Just not clear what makes a device $0 value.

      • Initially it said $40 trade in value (for Samsung S9). However during checkout, it will ask you to verify more details like IMEI number and condition. I clicked that my phone was cracked so it went down to $1 value (I figured they would find out anyway when they received my phone + my security deposit to my card was only $1). I still got the bonus $150 and $400 trade in value on top of the $1 value for the device.

        The phone is only $0 if you click that it's IMEI locked/blocked. Then you won't be able to trade it in.

        • Do you have to return your phone after being charged for the $1 trade-in fee? Like I have a perfectly good S10+ and got offered $115. I would assume if I had placed on order then I would have to return it. But if I chose not to would be charged a fee of $60. But with the $1 trade-in do I still need to send the device back to them.           • @akay0402: Not too sure what happens as I've always done it by the books just in case but I know many other users end up not returning the phone and copping the $60 charge. I'm assuming something like this might happen:
            If you do send it to them, you get: $115 (device value) + $150 + 400 off = $665 off straightaway
            If you don't send it to them you get: $115 + $150 + $400 (initially) - $115 - $60 = $490 off (but then you can sell your phone off privately/keep it). I'm assuming you don't get to keep the device value discount you initially received if they don't receive your phone. Plus the 60 charge
