365 days in a year .Get real telcos .

It's not advertised as a yearly plan and year is not written anywhere. The equivalent 365 day prices would be only $1.93 or $2.76 more which is negligible.

Unless they have improved something on their network.

Avoid this like the plague, just dont do this

  • Vodafone network..now sharing towers with Optus yeh?

      only in country areas

A couple of things worth noting

    • new customers only
    • the cheaper plan is 4g, no 5g

Imagine skimping out on 5 days of the year and not thinking it’s gonna piss people off

Far out, shrinkflation is now hitting year durations

  • Lebara or Kogan mobile?

My experience was that Kogan was more reliable than lebara.

I would go with kogan again if a decent sale qas on, i just picked up the recent coles 365 deal.

      Coming from Vodafone costco sale.

I would never try lebara again

      • Kogan does not have 5G for yearly plan.

        • Have you found it to make much difference, especially if you don't watch a lot of video?City coverage might be good, but suburbs are spotty in Sydney.

I recently activated a Lebara 365-day plan, which I purchased last December. If I buy another plan now, will it extend the expiry date by an additional year, or can I hold it for a year and activate it later? Alternatively, will purchasing a new plan now render it invalid or meaningless?

Does Lebara allow stacking? is there any activation deadline?

    • yes, up to 2 years upto 2024, not sure if they changed it now

  • Recharging a 360 plan is different to buying a 360 days sim card pack. This post is for 360days sim card packs. In the past, lebara allowed upto 2 additional years recharge stacking on top of the existing plan, however, I'd suggest confirming it before recharging. Also, lebara allows data gifting; also data banking upto 200GB. Lebara SIM must be activated within 365 days of purchase.

FWIW (not much perhaps), I live on the NSW Central Coast and have had a great experience with Lebara (coming from Boost). No problems at all with reception between here and Sydney, even went on a camping trip out the other side of the Blue Mountains and had better reception than my wife (who is still on Boost) in some areas.

  • oh no… just activated $119 koganmobile 140G

Guys any recommendation on long term sim only plan that has 5G network?

    • +2

      The only 5G/365 options I can see are Voda's 250GB/$169, Boost's 265/$300, or Floptus 280/$320

    • Optus had one recently with a decent cash back and international calls.

    • Or Telstra 260gb at Costco in store for $234.99. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/889530
