I don't know much about these things but was wanting to buy reliable laptop for internet, listing on ebay etc. that was high quality around this price. Would this be a good buy or is there better value for money and quality..would you be able to recommend anything?

This should be sufficient for what you need. But then again, so would a lot of other cheaper models.
I can still see the offer online, but not sure about the $100 Dick Smith gift card - maybe that's only for Boxing Day.
Heads up that the Nvidia 610M actually ranks lower than the inbuilt Intel 4000 HD

Clock speed is 2.5Ghz, but it can turbo up to 3.1Ghz.
Also, the weight of these things is ~2.5Kg.
… Price seems cheap, just know what you are getting for your money with this!
