        I wouldn't be gunning for that one anymore, you will miss out. Just do the $5000 one to get TIER 1, 2, 3, 4. I would buy $2600 worth of BTC, and sell that amount so it will guarantee it is over $5000 worth of trades to get all four tiers and get 50 XRP or about $250 worth.

        OXK is really generous with these rewards, since July 2024 I have made according to my dashboard

            @cheap4321: Yes I converted all to AUD and withdraw via PayID. If you want to get the best rates, do a limit order in exchange mode. If you are in a rush do a market sell in exchange mode.

            The quick convert function you'll get terrible exchange rates, avoid.

    How long do they normally take to register a new account cause a driend of mine tried to join & it said it was under review or verifying it.
    I dont recall it taking me long to sign up & do the KYC so i wonder if they are doing this due to the campaign to stop people from just signing up getting the campaign $ and bailing

          It didn't take long, was definitely less than an hour. This campaign won't run out for tiers 1, 2, 3, 4 quickly. So your friend should still have plenty of time to complete it.

        I did it on a computer. One way to get there (which I'm not sure if it's the same on a phone) is to click the button that is listed next to each reward tier that says something like "Trade now" on the campaign page.

      Have to be sure you buy via exchange (thats the technical view screen, not the simple user interface).
      Tier 5 is already max consumed - Tier 4 seemed to have about a 20 min delay on it when I did it.

      No. After I did the withdrawal request, I noticed the funds were in my bank account when I checked 15 minutes later. It could have been much quicker as I didn't check.

          Correct. It also mentions on that page that you can withdraw cash. So you just have to sell your crypto and withdraw the cash. You can't send your crypto somewhere else.

      My understanding is that the cost basis is the market value of XRP at the time you are given the gift.

      I always give these a cost base of $0.
      I've seen lots of people say they treat these promos as a gift, but I think this is wrong. You did something to earn these. Receiving free crypto when you signup to exchange, get a referral bonus or get bonus crypto for completing trades are all earnt, they aren't gifts (imho).

      If it's pending it usually means your name on your bank account and the name on OKX do not match. Or your bank doesn't use PayID/Okta.

      If the names match it's usually instantaneous.

      Westpac stuffed me around too. They rejected the transaction and cut off my online access for fraud reasons. I had to call them to reinstate my access, and got grilled on what I was doing and given a spiel on the risks of crypto.

      Lesson learned, don't use Westpac for crypto! Ubank transfers were instant.
