Yes, if the Powershop $150 welcome credit is mentioned in the plan. - Can confirm have had many sign up credits + gift cards over numerous providers.
Has anyone that signed up with Engie received any confirmation from them? Signed up on Thursday for both Electricity and Gas and I'm yet to receive any correspondence from Engie; have only received the email from Econnex with a reference number.
Nothing yet. Thursday too
Same, still no Engie confirmation. Signed up Thursday also.
Same. Signed up last Thurs, the day of this post.
They must be inundated with all the sign ups. Called Econnex for an update and was provided with a generic response to expect a welcome pack from Engie.
I got a welcome pack from Engie today, signed up on 18th
I got my confirmation email from Engie, like an hour ago.
Nice, did you sign up on the 16th as well? Not sure what order they're processing applications in
Yeah 16th.
16th too - nothing from Engie but got Red Energy email this am for the gas
@digitalane: Got the welcome pack 2 days ago, and connection email early this morning. Signed up on the 16th.
still valid? can't see this promo anywhere
has any one sign off this deal from Shopback. If yes, can we get cashback from shopback and on top of that $ 400 master card for signing up all of them.
Strictly no - but mine tracked so lets see
I called them today and they said we can't claim both. If you are signing up from cashback , you will get only $172 for electricity and gas.
Rest will be on your luck .
Agree, ShopBack will eventually reject the cashback if we start the process from https://www.econnex.com.au/promo-january
Got my Red Energy (gas sign up email), still nothing from Engie for the electricity
When did you sign up ?
It will take up to 90 _120 days to get a master card from Econex not sure how long it will take from the shopback .The Thursday the deal was posted
Just got my Engie welcome email - 1 week after submitting via econnex
It's pretty normal, last time I switched to Powershop it was so long that I'd forgotten about it completely.
have you reviewed the rate in the welcome pack? my one looks incorrect.
I signed up for
Peak Usage: 37.026c/kWh
Now it comes,
Offpeak 0.3514500 $/KWH
Peak 0.6077500 $/KWH for Summer 0.3787300 $/KWH for Winter
I haven;t - but i didn’t look at the rate i signed up for - will only keep for the 30 days
Do you see any indication for the $200/$100 credit? I can't see anything suggesting this from Engie.
In the attachment to the email :
Electricity: Want good value energy that makes you feel good' Our plan delivers great value and your energy usage is
carbon offset. You'll receive a 10% guaranteed discount off our electricity usage and supply rates, and a welcome credit of
$200 on your first electricity bill.Oh thanks found it. Appreciate the help.
Signed up to Powershop for electricity and the transfer just completed today and my account is showing $150 credit. I had only just churned out of Powershop end of 2024 after receiving $150 + $75 referral credit. Seems like they don’t have any exclusion period for the $150 credit
Yeah, I left Powershop in November and got the $150 credit again when I signed up last week. I'm guessing they will stop this offer soon. It can't be profitable having everyone jump in and out every couple of months to pick up the free $150.
Last time when I took this offer, I switched to the "Power House" plan after 30 days because it's much cheaper than the "Switch Saver" plan you have to use with this deal. I'll just do that again unless Engie are still offering the $200 deal in a month.
Engie electrictiy activated today - 30 day calendar reminder set to switch!
Too late, no? Engie took a week from enrollment to activation for me.
What you mean?
If you want to churn it in exactly 30 days, better schedule it with advance notice.
Anyone know if Engie give accurate daily usage or estimates? Just switched and with Alinta we were using average 30 or so kWh a day in summer months. 4 days so far with Engie and it’s been between 85 and 95 per day! Usage hasn’t changed much - and certainly not 3 fold!
Origin said we spent 14-16 kWh/day in the last 3 months. Engie activated for us 4 days ago, and their app shows 10 kWh "monthly average" (daily average?) and 120 kWh "so far this month". Not sure how to read this…
Just received my gift cards from a previous deal (not this one) Check your inbox / spam folders. It's from 'Karta Rewards'
Cards received were from the Econnex October promo.
Didn't receive mine. Utility was connected 129 days ago, gift card email is on the safe senders list from last time, no SMS. Customer support said it was already sent and it's now expired which makes no sense.
Was it for the November deal?
No late September / early October.
Ahh thanks!
Anyone got their gift cards yet?
Still have 2.5 months to wait for these gift cards. 90 - 120 days.

Does this stack with powershops $150 sign up credit?
