It's not Polo, but $15-20 for a Tommy T-shirt isn't bad.
Could you point me to some brands that are of comparable quality to Tommy Hilfiger? I love their chino shorts in particular - I haven't found a better fit and comfort level from pairs of a comparable price when they are on sale.
If you're looking for a cheap brand, Tommy is probably the best quality for this price point.
In addition to a good fit, it all comes down to brand perception (for many) and whether that's something you care about, or not (no right or wrong).Yeah, I couldn’t care less what brand my clothes are, I just look for stuff that fits well and feels nice to wear. I suppose it’s heavily dependent on your body and whether a certain brand makes clothes that fit you well.
I'm not sure if it's just my body type, but I like how pretty much all of the Tommy Hilfiger clothes look on me, including their chino shorts. Some days I look like a sponsored TH model.
But to answer your question - I have no idea.
Some days I look like a sponsored TH model.
Flex.
@brotherfranciz: Haha well except for the looks and the body of one, of course.
@AlanHB: Deflex
I actually know what you mean. I wear some Tommy chino shorts that I bought from ozsale for $30 and a ralph polo and people gawk at me when I go down to the shops, etc.
If you think the RRP $349 coming down to $174 is a good bargain for a shorts, then you are not an OZBargainer.
Any frkn company can produce a great quality product and sell it for 1/5th of the priceYeah they're not the shorts we're talking about. Frankly I think those look awful! They have some that are about $100 a pair and on sale for $70 ish, at least they were when I bought a few pairs.
Have you tried Uniqlo chinos?
I have tried TH, CK, VH and Uniqlo chinos. I prefer Uniqlo chinos over any other brand for their fitting and reasonable pricing
I will give them a go when I am next shopping. Thanks!
Uniqlo quality is awesome and much cheaper than TH. I would still prefer Uniqlo over TH as long as fitting is not an issue.
I bought some TH t-shirts in an Amazon sale a while back. Not a big fan of them. Not bad quality or anything, just the cut doesn't really suit me, they look very boxy. I find Calvin Klein t-shirts tend to suit my shape better - they're cut so they fit just right on me, not so tight that they look painted on, but not too loose or billowy or boxy. I don't buy the CH ones at full price either but they can be had on sale for reasonable prices fairly regularly.
Agree. Hilfiger here in US is an outlet mall filler. $10 polos etc.
When are they not on sale? They should just make it their default prices
boring overpriced selection :(
Thanks OP, bought a few bags and got additional 5.6% via Shopback (upsized).
Cashback already confirmed.
They should start selling them at Kmart
thanks OP, bought a few items, I'm excited!
Good deal on the merino jumpers. Four colours available (black, dark blue, cream, red) and S, M, L sizes all in stock (at the time of my comment).
$106.92 for two, which works out as $53.46 each. Also, cashback (if it tracks) makes it an even better deal.
Any experience with these? Because this is around the same price as the Uniqlo ones and I would probably expect the Uniqlo ones to be better quality.
But the Uniqlo ones do not say Tommy Hilfiger though.
Holding out for the Uniqlo X Tommy Hilfiger range.
Thanks OP
Linen shirts and white shoesmy wife likes Tommy tshirts XXS and they are often hard to find in-store in that size (cos obese nation) so got two for $46 delivered which isn't bad.
thanks op needed a reason to use my $100 gift card and this was it
Don't forget cashback. SB at 5.6p
