legally you don't need to have any nbn plan

Highly recommend Southern Phone. Cheaper and 12 month deal. Fantastic speeds and ping, even during peak.
I run a Plex server too and has been great for remote connections.

    50% cashback with topcashback.

    • Southern Phone has been absolutely terrible in the past for me and others. Maybe they've improved? I'll never touch them again though.

  • I just signed up to SL and as I've never had an RSP that uses CGNAT, I wanted to ask, how do you know it's turned off (if you request for it to be turned off and they grant that)?

  • Just signed up. In a Velocity/Opticomm area, so will let you know in a week how they are, and how real the speed is.

    • Did you get a cashback tracking for this, as it's Opticomm and not NBN?

  • Can cashback work if I'm forced to signup over the phone? The website refuses to find my address when searching (it finds my unit number on the other side of my road… it finds other unit numbers at my address… but refuses to show my unit number).

EDIT: Cashrewards offering $85 cashback for signup (at any tier it seems?) and I wanted the 250Mbps plan anyway, so I guess it's all the same if I go via them. Also with Cashrewards I was doing the signup "via Econnex" so those guys were able to find my address just fine, funnily enough. Also tracked almost immediately, within about 10 minutes of completing the order.

    The service is zero

    • That's a great deal. Was that on live chat? For this deal, the service looks to be $95

Still chasing my cashback after signing up previously two months ago to superloop.

So not worth the trouble with these cashback offers.

  • Received the Cashback got tracked email several minutes after I placed the order.

Going to set a reminder to cancel in 5 months now…

  • Took this deal Nov 2024 no tracking , had to lodge a claim on 29 Nov but still no update after 3 months!

  • Will Superloop cancel the service with my current provider?

  • Also signed up 30/10/2024 and TCB didn't track, submitted claim 11/11/2024, still waiting for response. Can take up to 90 days after submitting to retailer which they did on 14/01/25 which will take me till 14/04/2025. Pretty ridiculous timeframe to get a yes or no.

  • Topcashback still pending for sign up last december. Now NA on status. Anyone know when it clears?
