Imo these are great value even at full price, & the best frozen pizza you can buy. last year their full range use to frequently go 1/2 price, but it's just the fig pizza this week.

Some stores don't stock them, so you may have to search around, eg in Brisbane region, Coles Cannon Hill / Woolloongabba have stock + Online. I assume they're on sale today and tomorrow, until wednesdays sales are up.

Woodfired pizza topped with a mix of cheeses and optional fig sauce.

Not sure why everyone is flipping out over these. They're okay. Dr Oekter is way better.

      Dr Oekter is way better.

      No way…

During the 1930s and 1940s, Rudolf-August Oetker was an active member of the Waffen-SS of the Third Reich. The company supported the war effort by providing pudding mixes and munitions to German troops.

You can check in the app.

        • +1

If they'll raincheck? Not sure about that. They give you a physical voucher.

            Coles should, woolies don't.

        • The app / online stock is always inaccurate for me…. I checked last time and in stock = 0 in store apparently

I think it's at least 2-3 weeks validity, and you can say for how many (up to a limit, can't remember how many, at least 6).

The truffle version of this is a winner with the kids. Always good to have a couple in the freezer for an easy dinner.

  • My least favourite out of the 3 that I have tried

  • +1

I tried this last time Ozbargain told me to, It was pretty good actually.
But if I had to choose between this and a McCains BBQ Meatlover 500g in the freezer for the same price, I'd go the McCains.

Unfortunatly the days of a freezer full of $3.25 McCains are gone.

Aldi speciality 4 cheese, calabrese salami and the ham and mushroom fior de latte are restaurant quality and best frozen pizzas I've ever eaten Fyi. So people saying these are the best, I'm skeptical.

    • How much are they, sound pretty good

      • I think they're around $8 when I tried a few months back
They are good, I do prefer the base of this coles one however, also I might have been unlucky but there was not a lot of cheese on the aldi pizza compared to this

  • Anyone else airfry these? I've been doing 190 for 5 mins (half at a time).

    • No, but I'm sure they come out great.

I let mine defrost overnight first, in the fridge

  • Such a regret there is no option for Hawaii Pizza lovers, only two flavors available near my site.

I need Greggo to review this before I'm touching it.

Note that they contain Animal Rennet….

    • only if you don’t remove the cheese, no need for vegans to miss out if they have the patience to remove the cheese.

    • Which is better for cheese making anyway.

      • Not better for vegeterians.

        • Don't make cheese out of vegetarians I guess.

  • Showing full price for qld 😔

  • I tried this brand like a fortnight ago and it wasn’t bad at all considering it’s frozen.

  • Cinque Formaggio?? WTF is this?? I have only ever seen Quattra formaggio. Food scientists have gone mad.

eating a mushroom one now, the crust is too wide causing it to be dry.

    • -1

You're probably overcooking / over reheating it.

They only need a couple of minutes at super high temp, when thawed.

      • +3

how its cooked doesn't effect how wide the big and wide the crust is

        • Yes, according to you, it would be the exact same way it being too wide causes it to be too dry. Nonsense.

You took my comment out of context when your original comment is completely ridiculous.

    • +2

wide crust is people trying to do the neapolitana style pizza appearance.

  • Is the fig sauce already on the pizza or in a separate sachet? Would prefer without a sweet sauce

  • These pizzas have the best crust of any frozen pizza. Just don't eat it with orthodontic appliances as you'll break them all.

  • This pizza is so dry and definitely not Italian from Naples. There was one that was actually pretty decent called Emila that they cancelled about 10 years ago. Dr. Otenger or whatever it's called is not proper pizza, don't understand why it's so popular.

    • I don't think there are any claims these are from Naples.

Yes Naples has great pizza, but otherwise it's a complete shithole

    • Coz it's easy to heat n eat.
