Visiting the Gold Coast and was planning to pick up an iPhone there and was wondering if any locals or anyone visited there can share their experience.
I'm from NZ and my daughter previously purchased from JB Hi-Fi and she had a good experience but thought I'd reach out here if there are better ways to get one.
We are from NZ so will be flying in was thinking local shops will be cheaper than buying duty free.

Yes this is the plan but cannot decide if airport duty free might have better deals

The airport duty free know there is a take it or leave it mentality.
Nearest to GC is with Low Stock is Helensvale or The Pines.
Iphone 12 might be a bit too old for us, thinking of at least 15 to get the USB C
Watch out for people throwing hats whilst on the GC.
Are you shopping for new or pre-owned?
Thanks we are looking to utilise the tourist refund scheme as well and ideally want to purchase brand new but if pre owned in good condition, should be okay.
If you're shopping in that price range I recommmend 15 Pro and above to get Apple Intelligence.
leaning towards 15 Plus or 16 plus as not sure if we use the extra features of Pro but battery life is something we think paying extra is worth..
