    generally one tries Telfast/fexofenadine first, being a 3rd generation antihistamine, then Zyrtec/cetirizine and/or Claratyne/loratadine, both 2nd generation, though there is now the new Allertine/bilastine

      What is better about the 3rd generation? The tablets are so much bigger I'm thinking of moving back to loratadine

    It varies so you have to try. I’ve been told you can develop resistance to one and have to cycle through the brands which might help you with trying them out
