I have the XXXL - AF400. It has been pretty damn good.
Although need to warranty it atm, stopped turning on for some reason. Not sure if its a common thing or not. But damn good airfryer while it was working. I had only ever bought Philips airfriers, but tried this for a change and was pleseantly surprised.

          • @AmperSand: Cool man thanks good to know hopefully it’s just a one off malfunction with yours.

We had one we picked up from the floor at woolies worked a treat for 3-4yrs starting to slow down now but was a bargain for $49

        • +1

I want to know too! I put under gift cards and displaying "the promotional code you applied cannot be added to your purchase"

Me too! Serious upgrade from the old philips one. Ninja makes great stuff.

Me three. Probably my best deal of 2024.

        • Definitely one of my best deals. Best for me was definitely the 85 inch c855 tcl tv for $2100.

      • Upgrading from a woolies air fryer, so I'm excited!

      • I've had a few different philips ones and swore by them. Moved to an AF400 and I agree, Ninja make excellent stuff, seems to cook faster, crispier and more consistently. Not sure what kinda of sourcery they use, but it damn works.

    • I missed this and it doesn't seem like it's going to stop to that price of even near that price.

      • I would say it won't until a clearance maybe end of this year? From what i have read though the AF300 is very similar. Slightly different cook times and a bit smaller i think.

        • Smaller by about 20%.

  • can you fit a decent steak into these drawers?

    • Steak does not belong in the air fryer

      • A thick stake is finished off in the airfryer.

  • How much better are these than the cheap kmart one i have?

    • Not a very comparable. You will need to provide, bucket size, wattage. Take into consideration the cooking settings.

    • assuming your cheap kmart one is similar to the $30-50 3.5L mistral one, this will be a significant improvement in terms of size and also features (mainly the sync and match features)

Whilst I was a bit dismissive of the sync and match features, it is actually quite handy to have both baskets finish cooking at the same time so that you can serve and enjoy them at the same time whilst being hot… rather than eating one and waiting for the other, or waiting for everything to be done and having some food turn cold..

That part will be valued differently to everyone.. for myself it's pretty hard to go back to a single basket OR even two baskets that don't have the sync/match feature.

  • I can't speak to this particular model but I recently bought Ninja's AF500 on a boxing day sale and I think it's a terrific unit so far. Being able to throw the drawer and its inserts into the dishwasher is amazing (I run it on the fastest 30min cycle just in case).
