  • I was about to post my disbelief at iTunes' $25 for Standard Definition… until I did some searching. It's ridiculous and blatantly obvious that the BBC are trying to milk their star series for all (if not several times over) it's worth.

I'm not against milking if it means more seasons get produced with their great production values :)

  • I miss the RTD era. Moffat is pissing me off now

I've made a comment about dvd boxset with link to amazon.co.uk and it's become unpublished for "Referral or affiliate links in comments are not allowed". No, I'm not former or later.

Anyway, amazon sell the dvd set of above mentioned seasons for $58.67 delivered. In case for someone who prefer physical content.

  • Damn, I thought you meant the real seasons 1-4 and not the remake.

  • I think the best Doctor Who deal on iTunes at the moment is season 5 in HD for 26.99. Season 1 has been cheaper too- I picked it up in September for 14.99 on iTunes.

    No deal. Highly uncompetitive prices

Amazon has the 2 most recent Blu-Ray (region free) sets at US23.49 each, adding postage brings it to about AU$30 for one set and AU$54 two

Doctor Who: The Complete Sixth Series [Blu-ray] (2010) US$23.49

  • If you absolutely must have the iTunes version then fine… BUT it makes no sense when you can have the DVD of Seasons 1-4 and Bluray of everything since for less from various sources mentioned here… got my ones from Amazon UK a few months back.

If you still want the DVDs on your iphone then OzB comes to the rescue again:
