If I want to buy a ipad air, is eligible for shopback or cashreward cashback?
I think I will get the pen pro as promotional.
    Thank you.

I want to buy iphone 16 pro which deal is better cashrewards or shopback? Appreciate if someone can guide me.

    • +2

Cashrewards. This offer excludes all iPhone 16 and 16 Pro models.

  • Mac mini included it seems. It says:

This Cashback deal is not valid together with:

Any Gift Card, Voucher or store credit purchase
Any Gift Card or Voucher redemption

Does this mean that I cant use apple gift card to buy? What if the gift card is added ro my apple account?

    • Any Gift Card, Voucher or store credit purchase
Any Gift Card or Voucher redemption

      Where did you see this?

      • shopback, terms and conditions of the deal

        • seems like it has been removed from the exclusions :)

        • Does ShopBack have a store rep here to clarify this?

      • on the web extension it says this. Also i paid for mac mini with gift cards yesterday on shopback and it has not tracked. im scared they will deny it because of the gift cards used lol.

    • I think that's wrong. The deal from yesterday said you could use it with apple gift cards/account balances:
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/888124

  • Correction: TopCashback allows gift cards. So, use them and ask them to price beat shopback for MB Pro and use cashrewards cashback for using price beat for other products. Remember: price beat is at their discretion

    • There is no chat to ask for PB in topcashback, you can only open the ticket and why would they provide the PB once you have already made an order at a lower Cashback.

      • Good pt, answer: maybe staying competitive with other cashback providers

      • Worth trying for small transactions tho to see if it works

    • Every other time Shopback has run this promotion it seems that gift cards/account balances are eligible.

It's weird that you don't see any mention of gift card/account use in exclusions on the app versus when looking at the desktop site.

  • How reliable and trustworthy is SB going to honour and pay out on a large $6-8k purchase of a MacBook Pro?

  • Anyone ordered a MacBook Pro via this shopback promo?

  • I'm seeing "Ends 11 Jan • 11:59pm" on the website, looks like this will still be on tomorrow then?

  • Saving this for future users.

I got a Macbook Pro 13 and opted for Airpods Pro 2 (worried because it said Airpods 4 was excluded from cashback) on the 7% cashback offer yesterday and this is how it worked it out and showed up on my order email:

    Macbook $3,069
    Discount -$299

    Airpods Pro 2 $399

Cashback @ 7% was $201.66 (which is 7% of $2,880.90, which is the $3,169 total amount less GST), track confirmed 24 hours later.

Worked out better than I thought it would! (Was assuming it'd be just the cashback for the MBP net discount and GST)

    • Macbook pro 13?

      • Sorry 14! I'm upgrading from an Intel MBP 13 so I'm stuck in the past.

Can't edit my comment but the correction is here.

  • Just need some clarification. Base on this "Cashback will appear on User's ShopBack account between 2 - 7 days after the product has been Paid for and Shipped.", does that really mean I can't select pick up option at all?

    • No, pick up is fine.

    • Firstly, I'd be surprised if you got paid out within 7 days, and secondly that you can withdraw it. Usually takes months for anything to appear, let alone be able to "withdraw" funds

  • Anyone know when this will be back? My friend is keen to use cashback offer and buy one before he leaves overseas next week.
