        With the rumours of coffee prices spiking this year, I'm happy to stock up a bit. Is there a limit you'd recommend on how long they can stay in the freezer?

          Unfortunately those rumours are true, however we're doing our best not to pass those increases onto customers as much as possible. Good thinking to stock up! It is perfectly okay to freeze beans for up to 6 months, though some prefer to keep it to a few weeks (this is personal preference) the real key is storing them in an airtight container to avoid moister in the beans.

          Our best tips for freezing beans are:
          - Use an airtight container to store beans, use zipper bags inside a container if you want to be extra cautious
          - Use multiple small containers rather than one large one (this way you can thaw a small amount at a time - don't refreeze thawed beans (yuck)
          - Let the beans reach room temp before using
          - Label and date your containers to keep track

    I used to like their coffee until I actually visited their cafe.
    I was served a coffee that was a poor excuse for a Flat White, it had enough foam to be a classic cappuccino without cocoa on top, in fact more foam than that.
    When I called them out on this the attitude I got.

    Then again so many cafes give out way too much foam and don't care - (too lazy, too busy to give a crap).
    This is just another one to add to the list of many.
