I wouldn’t settle for the cheaper ones, your eyes deserve better. High-quality LEDs typically offer a CRI of 90-95, which closely mimics natural light, while cheaper options often fall below 80.
When u say eyes deserve better does a lower CRI damage the eyes?
I’m qualified to comment on this, higher CRI lighting definitely looks more natural and pleasing to the eyes.

i have two right now — both bought separately about a year or so in between. it's great — you could control both lights with a single puck (keep the other one as spare).
unfortunately the older one died a couple of years into the lifespan & i don't know how to fix it or even to find out what the problem was. i'm thinking i'll switch to a different type of desk lamp setup instead once this second one eventually dies.
I agree. My one died as well too soon. Need to find a different one more reliable.
I must be lucky mine is still going strong from 2020.
Mine going strong, I have the backlight ones with colour LEDS. It has IOT, but I block it on my home wifi (paranoid).
Maybe once a year, it plays up. I just reconnect it to our home wifi, then it seems to just restart again. Then I block it again on our home wifi.
I really like these light bars but they often fail. I've had 4 with 2 fail. Always the same failure - the springs that push the pins that electrically connect the 'bar' to its magnetic mount lose their springiness. This results in poor electrical conductivity between the powered mount and the bar.
I've been looking for a way to disassemble the bar to replace the springs but they seem to be glued together in a way that disassembly will destroy the bar. Poor repairability.
Omg it’s back. Does it work well with a 34” curved monitor?
Ive been using one with a gigabyte 34" curved monitor for about 4-5 years now with no issues. doesn't shine on the monitor at all.

Good cheaper alternative to the BenQ Halo ones. Though if your monitor has a large bump on the back, it may not sit well with the mount and might need a bit of modifying (eg. LG GP850).
The gift bundle with the speaker and range extender doesn't seem to bad of a price after the coupon code. If you need those other things too, of course.
I would recommendd to use those bar with direction to back of monitor - to wall. It gives much more softer and ambient light

I think the newer 1S ones can be. The originals can't.
I would imagine there is a much cheaper version of these kind of light bars that is similarly useful.
