The only issue with juicer (including this) is the hassle of cleaning after each use. It is not easy as they claim.

Easy enough i think. Turn on tab, Rinse is water shake shake all done

      • watch some youtube videos say otherwise. But it depends how much effort is okay by you each use.

Agree on the finicky cleaning for (most) cold juicers.

We have a Hurom juicer (competing cold press juicer), and also considered this one, and to borrow from the old adage, every time you want juice, you have to think about whether the juice is worth the clean. Can't dishwasher any of it, need to wash straight after cleaning, and while it's true larger containers only need a quick soap down and rinse, there are a lot of parts to wash and the auger (the big "grinding" part) and little silicone seals are esp finicky to clean as the pulp etc sticks more to those.

We don't regret our decision to get a cold juicer. The orange juice it makes tastes fantastic, without the bitterness of any of the squeezed juices from Coles. But I usually don't go to the hassle unless we're making larger quantities eg about half a litre or more (eg 10 oranges+).

This Kuvings has a big advantage (in our view) over the Hurom in that it has a 7.7cm chute so you can keep feeding in the fruit as you go - for ours, you have to open the lid to put in whole fruits, which stops the machine (on the other hand, you can fit more fruits in the juicing bowl, in case you have a bunch of peeled oranges etc ready to go, rather than feeding them in continuously).

One big pro is that for the price, these pricier Korean machines do well at crunching fibrous stuff like celery, if that's your thing.

FWIW Choice gave the Kuvings B8000 (past model, assume it's the prev version of this) a Recommended 73% rating (they gave the centrifugal (fast rather than slow) Nutribullet Juicer their top rating, though not by miles):

      Good points
      • Very comprehensive instructions with recipes.
      • Detachable smart cap to stop juice from dripping out of spout.
      • Blank strainer for frozen ingredients, cleaning tool and brush included.
      • Extra-large feed chute.
      • Small parts easily fit into domestic sink.
      • 20-years warranty on motor. 5-years on parts.
      • BFA free juicing bowl.
      • Stable unit with rubber feet.
      • Relatively quiet.

      Bad points
      • No cord storage.
      • Can be difficult to store when assembled.
      • Pulp can become jammed around filter and auger.
      • Can be fiddly aligning the filter basket and auger.
      • Some bulky parts (lid and chute) can be difficult to clean in a domestic sink.
      • Auger assembly accessible (small and large hands).
      • No parts dishwasher safe.
      • Some cracks and crevices on the exterior where residue can accumulate.
      • Over time the silicone wiper blades may become blunt, need to replace at some stage.

  • I've used this one for almost 4 years and I can say this that its not among the best ones to clean up

    1) manufacture a run of 1,000 juicers.
    2) advertise them as "professional cold press" juicers.
    3)??
    4) profit
