Original Coupon Deal

Been looking for this for a while. Much cheaper than Dell's super inflated price, cheaper than their refurbished outlet right now.

Plenty of ports and daisy chain. Auto KVM, integrated hub and PD charging.
IPS black panel.

Not a gaming display, but great for work purposes.

  • What does a laptop need in order for Daisy chain to work? My partners laptop doesn't output video over USB c. She only has HDMI out. So I assume Daisy chain won't help her get two screens to WFH?

    • +1

Need Display Port or Display Port over USB-C to support Daisy chain

    • A docking station

      • Only if the laptop does video over USB c. Which my partner's doesn't.

        • +1

No, you use a Docking Station that has DisplayLink - this connects by USB, as a data device, and doesn't need any Display output.

Also next time don't buy a laptop that doesn't have the proper hardware for WFH 😁

  • Good price - I got a pair from Scorptec for $629 each.
$659 on Amazon atm, so effectively $593.10 if you had the 10% off Amazon GC from last year.

  • +2

A 600 dollar 27" better restore my eyesight.

  • +1

$629 at Mwave with free metro delivery

  • This is good but then I discovered QD-OLED panels.

    • For $600 at 4K?

    • What are your favourite QD OLED monitors? I was looking at grabbing an OLED as a third monitor to cover work from home, occasional gaming and nicer colours for a bit of video editing. However, they say OLED monitors are no good for productivity tasks due to the need for the monitors to dim or adjust the image to prevent burn in during long productivity stints.

      • MSI for best value, I think there are going to be 27 inch 4K OLED soon. Gonna be a very sharp picture.

  • Thank you OP
I am running this monitor WFH, this is possibly one of the most complete one-monitor solution to support WFH.

Display over USB-C with power delivery, comes with a Lan port and USB hub for keyboards and mouse

It is certainly not the cheapest 4k display out there, still this monitor is a solid WFH consideration

  • How does this compare to the Dell S2722QC at $350? For productivity purposes? I am happy to shell out the extra $250 if it’s worth it, since work gives me a $300 reimbursement it would only end up being $300 out of my pocket (or I can get the S2722QC with just $50 out of pocket)
