Just look at the one star reviews. Words that pop up include: died, only last 3 months, heated up, terrible quality, doesn't last, not working, horrible quality of the prongs.

If you add the 1,2 and 3 star review percentage, that's 20%. Thats the chance you risk AND that's assuming no fake 4/5 star reviews. Save your $14.69 for a reputable charger.

With charger please dont buy the cheapest you see….

Feels like an an art not a science.

    • But also don't have to pay overpriced Mophie & Belkin charger.

    • My recent experience is please don't buy cheapest cable you see.

One of them free included USB c cables from buying cheap aliex crap, melted the USB a plug to the charger. Smoke, crispy cable…Luckily I was at home and it was charging my old power bank and not my phone.

The charger was a Transcend one that's been a work horse for a couple of years so I blame the cable.

  • Given this is the same price as a 20w Heymix charger, I'd rather not risk Tom Jones.

  • Much better option from Bunnings - $7 for 45w USB PD

Not a lot of stock of the 45w model, but at least you know it'll be certified

not if you need 65w as per this deal :)

    • My bunnings one just blew. Didnt last long :(

  • Amazon is full of these "manufacturers" with completely rando names who aren't established companies or have any credibility.

Not worth potentially setting your house on fire to save a few bucks. My personal rule is I don't cheap out on power bricks or chargers, risk just isn't worth it.
