Look at the image properly. It's obvious that 27W happens when the 18W USB-A is in use.

Records of this model's certification on Google show it outputs 45W.

For the people voting this comment up, do some research before pressing the + blindly, especially mods who are usually responsible for correcting false info on the site.

Look at the image properly. It's obvious

Obvious? No, I'd have believed the description over that image. They do not show the details, which should be printed on the back, which would show e.g. 15V@3A PD.

It is common for retailers to say "45W PD" when that is the total PD + USB-A, but in this case Bunnings appear to have the description wrong, and it really is 45W PD.

      https://device.report/shenzhen-top-micro-technology/ckcg630w

      Output (USB-C): 5Vdc 3A, 9Vdc 3A, 12Vdc 3A, 15Vdc 3A, 20Vdc 2.25A, 45W Max;

Believing it initially is understandable but posting a comment with false info without looking at the item properly is not.

  • Any reccommendation for a dual usb-a fast charger?

    • +6

      USB-A
      Fast charger

      Pick one

      • "usb-a fast charger" can refer to Qualcomm QC, or Apple 2.4A.
        QC3 is common, and does 12 V × 3 A.

        • +1

If you have a Qualcomm chip, yes. or it refers back to 2.4A = 12W. QC 3.0 is almost 9 years old.

    • That's awesome. What other websites use this for stock levels?

  • can anyone confirm specs?

    • I have one at home, when I plug in a second device, it switches off the first one for about 4 seconds then turns it back on

      • +5

All chargers are meant to do this as a safety feature as it needs to renegotiate with each device, so it doesn't supply the wrong voltage.

        • -1

          Usually only gan chargers

        • No, it's not a safety feature per se, it's just these chargers haven't implemented the proper USB-PD renegotiation.

  • So the c puts out 45 if that is only plugged in ?

    • +4

Yes, that's how these dual port chargers work

      Output (USB-C): 5Vdc 3A, 9Vdc 3A, 12Vdc 3A, 15Vdc 3A, 20Vdc 2.25A, 45W Max

      Output (USB-A): 5Vdc 3A, 9Vdc 2A, 12Vdc 1.5A, 18W Max

      Total Output (USB-C+USB-A): 27W+18W

      • So if I have a Samsung USB-C charger with one port and it says 30W, this is better than the Bunnings one as the Bunnings one throttles to 27W even if the USB-A slot is empty?

        • There's other factor that has to be considered such as charging protocol (ie. PPS for Samsung Super Fast Charging)

          • @RichardL: Cool, was just looking in general for simple minded peeps like myself ;)

        • +2

No, the bunnings will put out 45W if the USB-A slot is empty.

(as noted you should consider PPS support etc. which may be missing from the Bunning charger if you're looking to charge a Samsung phone/tablet at max speed~

  • Damn that is a good price.

    • -2

Damn that is a slow charger

      • +7

What? 45w at $12? How is that slow for the price?

  • +1

  • +1

thanks heaps and ordered one with free delivery.
any recommendation in getting one with the USB ports pointing downwards instead of extruding from the back?

    • please check your order email - does it say wall charger or USB cable as per my comment above.

      • Mine says USB cable..

        • same, i just took a screenshot just in case, maybe shall cancel order, don't want the hassle of returning it

          • @reacher: FYI - I did click and collect and received the correct charger as per the website.

      • Same here, Usb Cable Silicone Click 2m Usb C/ltning Ckcg538cl

      • +3

In the Bunnings app, order detail shows WALL CHARGER CLICK 45W USB A/C CKCG630W, with product image.

In the e-mail, "Usb Cable Silicone Click 2m Usb C/ltning Ckcg538cl"

      • +1

same as the folks below, email said cable but bunning app said charger.

        • +1

          Same.

  • +2

Ordered 2 with free delivery via OnePass
    Thanks OP

  • +1

Damn just realised my one pass expired.. wow one year so quick

    • +3

Damn I can walk to Bunnings but will use OnePass instead

  • +6

Bunnings just called me cause i placed 2 orders, they confirmed it's wall charger

    • Thanks for confirming. Just picked up a couple thanks to your feedback.

  • Thanks OP

  • Grabbed one! Thanks!

  • pps?

    • -1

      I doubt it.

    • Some manufacturers don't always list PPS even though the charger supports it. I'd suggest not buying it if you need PPS unless someone else here confirms that it does have PPS.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Got one. Trying to replace some of the more questionable chargers accumulated over the years…

  • +1

Thanks Op. Great price for a 45W. Ordered one with Onepass!

  • out of stock for deliver

  • sorry for the stupid question, but will it charge a macbook? I want one charger that can charge all our devices (macbook, iphone, ipad, kindle) when we travel even it's slow.

    • +1

Yes. This should be fine. Apple generally sticks to USB PD specs.

    • +2

macbook air yes - but will be slower with pro, or deplete faster than being charged if in use

      • oh really? I have 14" pro and not worth it if that's the case.

        • +1

65w/68w charger is generally a good size for portability whilst traveling if you are only charging one device such as MacBook pro at a time, for multiple devices 100w charger may be better suited. As tonester mentioned 45w charger can slowly charge it, or you can charge MacBook when it's off to speed up the charging process.

          • @aragorn: Thanks for that. I think it makes sense to get something with a higher w because if had something else plugged in like a phone or ipad it will provide even lesser current to the macbook right? or might not even charge at all.

            • @rmsprs: Yes 65w/68w or 100w charger is better for charging whilst travelling. I recommend Zyron chargers for their build quality, charging compatibility and overall value for money.

My order wasn't fulfilled. Stock issues, so they are getting it from another store and delivering.

    • Very confused. Now got a message for click and collect at a store 30 mins away!!!

  • +3

My order not fulfilled and refund being processed. Oh well.

  • +2

Just as FYI for anyone in Canberra, the Belconnen warehouse has no stock.

Instead, they delivered it to my door from the Gungahlin store within the hour which was pretty awesome

  • -1

I saw the brand as 'dick'

  • -6

Never heard of this brand would not buy and risk it

    • Bunnings has been selling Click products for years.

  • So the usba would be ok for a Raspberry pi wanting 2.5A 5V ?

  • went to bayswater and although they said it was in stock and on special the two employees i talked to couldn't find it, they probably haven't been put on shelves yet. Ended up going to scoresby where they were at the front of the store, hidden on the wrong side of the display with the usb cables of the same brand.

  • $9.9 no brainer

  • How to find stores for $9.90 ?

    • Walk in store show $11.95 but when scan, it was $9.9
Guess just go in store and try, even $11.95 still bargain

  • +4

    image of specs

To stop all the bickering. Yes, it is PPS. Yes, it does do 45w. You can find it in store for 9.95. I picked up 3 from Bunnings bonnyrigg. They are a mess in regards to the product but it should be near the front counter.

  • +1

Just got a text from my Bunnings:
"… unfortunately we don't have your item in stock but I have upgraded it to a better branded one that does the same thing and I'm going to price match the one you ordered…"

    Interesting…

    • Nice. They didn’t even bother for mine. Just cancelled and refund.

What about the 65w kogan one seems decent! https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-65w-3-port-gan-usb-a-and-…

  • Anyone got the Click foldable 3-in-1 charger?
Sometimes one of the two LEDs on ours flashes red and blue but we're not sure why.

  • Got cancelled.

    RE: Order No.

Thank you for your patience, unfortunately the item you have ordered is out of stock therefore we will be cancelling and refunding your order. Please expect the refund to be processed in 2-5 business days.
Apologies for any inconvenience and thank you for understanding.

    • Lol, they are still listing it as in stock on the website, how stupid…

      • lol yeah. I guess the particular store ran out. The text came from eastgardens Bunnings about 6 hrs ago.

  • -1

How does it compare to this which was $6
    Click 30W Dual USB-A and USB-C Wall Charger - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/852905

  • Can anyone who bought this and using it confirm it does do up to 45W PD from the one USB C PD port?
