    • Not really comparable if your taking about the msi deal

      • I was talking about the Gigabyte deal

        • ah fair enough, if you live in Sydney Nebula is much better anyway, from what ppl say they are still waiting on their rig from October here

          • @botchie: I actually live in Adelaide, so Techfast would be faster for me.
Of course, that’s only in shipping, because pretty much ALL PC stores would have their lead times extended simply because of the excessive demand for X3D CPUs, as well as the undersupply of them.

            • @FujinShu: when 9800 came out I got it straight away from Nebula and the PC was ready in about 8 days, from what I see, Techfast here took ppls cash without having the chips at hand and now they are waiting 2-3 months, thats not cool at all

      • Why isn't it comparable? Because 9800x3d > 7800x3d?

        • That and better parts being all MSI deal pretty much and steam gift card
You pay little more but the system is much better

          • @botchie: I actually got the Gigabyte deal instead.
It DOES come with a general $150 Prezzee gift card instead.

    • I personally would rather that deal. @luketechfast any chance on getting an option to upgrade to a Ryzen 7 9800X3D?

  • -3

@luketechfast Any more stock available? really need one!

  • Man I need to be quicker for the 4060 itx! Missed it last time too.

  • Woohoo I'd been waiting for a post-Xmas 4070TS deal and here it is! Cheers Techfast and Happy Xmas, can't wait for my new PC <3

  • Is there an option to add wifi card?

  • Man that 4070tis and 7800x3d is so good. GPU and CPU alone will run you $1800+. Hopefully it means the 7800x3d are coming into supply and therefore going down in price? Prefer my own build.

    • Hey! I'm looking at pulling the trigger too! Could I ask your opinion on whether the 4070 TiS or the 4070 S is the better pick?

I compared the two builds with the same parts after upgrading and price difference is $380-$410.

      • I'm no expert unfortunately. But it depends! Which games do you want to play, at what resolution?
That price difference is approx the difference in price for those 2 cards if you buy them individually so you're not getting any discount on the 4080 super as such.

Def would upgrade ram and psu on the 4070ts like I think you have.

        • Honestly, I'm upgrading from a Intel 990x and GTX 1050. I'm mostly doing it because I started filming Insta360 videos and need to edit 5.7k 60 fps videos. Not much of a gamer and currently only playing Chivalry 2 which isnt very demanding.

I'm hoping to keep this PC for as long as possible until my needs change, hence concerned about future proofing and considering whether the extra $400 is worth for the 4080 Super over the 4070 Ti S.

Yes definitely moving to 32gb 6000mhz. With the PSU, how far should I upgrade? 750W GOLD or 850W? Any opinion on upgrading the water cooling?

  • Just chiming in to say I’m very happy with my i9-1300/4080 system from tecahfast I bought in the 2023 Black Friday sales. Good value all things considered.

  • OP, is there an address for pick up? Or contact number at least?

  • Solid prices, especially that 4070tis and 7800x3d. Almost tempted to part out at that price.

    • Hey! I'm looking at pulling the trigger too! Could I ask your opinion on whether the 4070 TiS or the 4070 S is the better pick?

I compared the two builds with the same parts after upgrading and price difference is $380-$410.

  • Damn missed out was looking for a itx pc

  • Hi @luketechfast You know when MSI MAG PANO M100R PZ Micro Tower Gaming Case will be available ? Do you have other similar options? 7800x3d 4080 build

  • +17

Cannot believe you're posting another deal and taking new orders when you STILL haven't fulfilled my order for the same 4070 ti pc that was ordered late October??? Unbelievable

    • Wow it really takes that long ? I just ordered the 4070ti 7800x3d combo

      • +1

Yeah, unfortunately a number of us are waiting from late Oct/early Nov. But hopefully they have enough stock to fulfill our orders and yours too.

        • +1

I should say that they did fulfill some orders and apparently they had an unexpected delay due to supplier based shortages, who has apparently assured them that they would have enough stock, but who knows. I'm just really looking forward to getting mine asap

    • -4

How do you think pyramids get built? 😉

    • +5

wow that's really disappointing.. thanks the heads up. I was about to order but may skip seeing as they are struggling to fulfill orders…

    • +2

I have to admit I'm quite disappointed myself. I fully understand these deals will bring heaps of new orders but I can't help but be frustrated seeing this post while still waiting over a month for my PC to be sent.

Fortunately I'm not in a rush but I would have to caution those buying today that that wait times can be a lot longer than you would expect.

    • +4

Definitely frustrated me as well. I was early November. Would've been more professional if they told us they've had stock arrive before posting another bloody advert selling more PC's. My new 1440P monitor I got for Christmas is collecting dust haha.

  • Is opting for the 32 GB option (+$99) worth it for the middle deal or should you just sell the part and get from somewhere else?

  • Buy the 7800x3d 4080s now or wait a month or two for the new lines to release? Or will the price differences be negligible

    • 7800x3d is already superseded by 9800 and its not much more expensive , the GPU should be good as the new 5080/90s will be heaps more expensive

    • -1

If you buy from Techfast you’ll be waiting much longer than a month anyway.

  • Hi Techfast,

Can is it possible to order the pc with 4070 ti super but instead opt for 4080 super while keeping everything else the same and upgrading the ram to 32gbs?

    Thanks

  • All 3 builds are nice, just it's on the edge of new GPU release, literally only two weeks later. Wish I can get a deal of 9800x3d build without GPU.

  • Why I can't pay with afterpay for the middle pc?
If I go directly to techfast website I can pay with afterpay butt when selecting the middle pn selection one from ozbargain. I don't get option to pay with afterpay?

  • How does these compare to this:

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/364073998439?itmmeta=01JG13B16SS…

    For $870

    • all of these are significantly better in specs and price, why even compare that?

      • Mainly because I have no idea about computers, was comparing against the $688 one that isn’t available anymore

        • fair enough. Well put it this way the cheapest machine listed here at $688 and has a faster CPU and a newer and faster GPU than the one you linked.

  • Well this 7800X3D-4070TiS bad boy got me to finally pull the trigger, added some bonus Ram. This build appears great value.

    • Hey! I'm looking at pulling the trigger too! Could I ask why you chose the 4070 TiS over the 4080 build?

I compared the two builds with the same parts after upgrading and price difference is $380-$410.

      • It really comes down to what you are going to play and the resolution you play at. if you have 4k monitor and play all the newest FPS's then the 4070 while capable, will struggle with framerates. I have always thought of the 4070 as a strange beast, it is a little underwhelming for 4k and a monster for 1440p but too pricey compared to alternatives there. However if you are into 4k but perhaps not needing the highest framerates for twitch gaming then it may be perfect.

          • +2

@lailide: if you are editing videos i think you need a better CPU, this one is gaming only, there are others that will give you better performance on editing side and wont affect the games you play

            • @botchie: ah thank you, would a 7800x3d not be sufficient?

Prior to seeing this deal, I looked at getting a 7900X for video editing. Stuck on which GPU to pair it with, but primarily looking at these three:

4070 super $900 , 4070 tiS $1250, or 4080 Super $1600? I'm slightly worried 12gb vram isnt enough. WIth 16gb unsure if 4070 TiS is worth the upgrade, or if im better off going straight to 4080 S for future proofing.

              Would also be looking at 32gb DDR5 Ram @ 6000mhz CL30/36. A high-end SSD with 7k read/write with TLC.

              • +1

@lailide: 7900X is better and cheaper, so I would get that or even Intel and use the saving for a good GPU
4070TIS is better due to 16gb VRAM and future proofing , i dont think there that much difference vs 4080s to justify extra cost again
32g Ram yes, not sure about read write stuff but higher the better - probably 2 NVMe SSD type and your good to go

          • +1

@lailide: Echoing botchie. You need to be more concerned with the cpu if that is your main focus. These are not great builds for that though obviously will be an upgrade to what you have.

      • My monitor is optimised for 1440 gaming so that build rocks for my needs.

  • how does this compare to the recent nebula 4080s deal?

  • Anyone know why the price is $200 more when I click on the link for the 4070Tis build?

    • +1

Enter the correct code at checkout to see the discounted price

      • +1

Thanks :) seems like I took too long and the second deal is out of stock :(

  • Damn, wanted to get the ITX one for my son, missed out again.

  • -1

When will it be back? Looks like a decent upgrade for my truenas machine or set up for a separate ubuntu server to begin with to extend my home lab system. While my budget allows, please bring back the stock…

  • For the ITX build, is it better to get 1tb NVME storage and add a sata SSD down the line or upgrade to 2tb of NVME for an extra $100?

    • Always the first option.

    • +4

Wow how bad are you at your job that you don't know your own employer's promo lol

  • Just spend more than $3000 for the last deal because of a few tweaks. Hopefully, it won't take too long to arrive so I can use it with the Samsung G93SD that I bought before Black Friday.

  • Hey it's my first time on this website and I didn't know how to find some deals, but I have just found this and was just wondering if the Intel Core i5-12400F | RTX 4060 ITX Gaming PC will be restocked!
    As im interested in buying.

  • +1

Hey, is it possible to get the 7800x3d 4080 deal but downgrade the liquid cooling to an air cooler like the previous deals i.e. Deepcool AG400 220W+ air cooler? Thanks

  • The ITX is such a good deal. Techfast please bring out more deals under $1k for teen gaming

  • Damn I wanted that itx deal

  • I think the 4080S deal is out of stock now too

  • Any chance posting another 4080 deal, please?

  • Is the 4080 deal out of stock? Link isn't going to the build.

  • +3

    @luketechfast

Any news on when you're starting late October and early Novembers builds? My build is still saying "Order placed" as it's status still. Was hoping for an update sometome this week.

    Cheers.

    • Any updates bro?

      • I wish mate. Still yet to see or hear any updates yet. It's getting a bit annoying now. How about you?

        • +1

Have actually just received it in the mail - working very nicely. There is hope for you too

          • @Karaage Chicken: Lucky. Congrats :) Did your status on their website update or anything? Mine is still showing "order placed."

            • @Tyoson: I just got a notification that mine is not in build. On the website it shows that it's picked.

            • @Tyoson: I had gotten an email saying it was in build, but the website stayed the same. After a day or 2 it changed on the website and progressed more quickly after that.

              • @Karaage Chicken: Well I emailed the sales team last night and they responded this morning informing me my PC will be going in to build today. Sure enough I received a text and email confirming this. Another text and email came through later in the day to inform me my PC is going through testing.

So fingers crossed the testing all goes well and I'll be gaming in glorious 1440P soon :)

                • @Tyoson: Did you guys get any updates for the builds still pending from October/Nov?

                  • @Oz69B: Sure have. It shipped on the 10th of January. Just waiting for it to arrive. Which when it comes to Auspost could either be soon or take ages haha.

  • AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | RTX 4080 Super Gaming PC(ozb.techfast.com.au): $2649 after 7800X3D-4080S-BD - Is this also sold out? Doesnt say sold out but the coupon doesn't reduce the price to 2649? Just confirming if im looking at the right pc as well?

    • Entire deal says expired lol

      • it really was a good deal maybe luke and the team will do another one?

  • Ozbargained

    • +1

Deal sold out more than a week ago…

  • Hey Luke,

I have a work mate needing a PC in the next couple of weeks. Looking at something around the $1000-1200 mark, got anything coming up?

  • anyone's order from this deal entering the build phase? still waiting.. :)

    • Nope, but got an email titled "Your order has entered its estimated build window". Im awaiting updates eagerly

    • Got the email saying Your Order Has Entered Its Estimated Build Window on Jan 9th

    • Nope, just got the email saying it's entered it's estimated build window but build is still sitting in "order placed"

      • same for me, just the entered estimated build window notification

        • Anyone had theirs move into the build phase yet, still waiting on mine since boxing day

          • @Cookie789: same, bought on boxing day, no updates so far. techfast has not responded to emails

            • @xenobium: I got an update email saying mine is getting picked. bought from this sale.

  • I just got an updated email saying mine is in build now. Hopefully would get them soon.

  • If i want to install windows on a techfast PC that comes with Linux, do I just need to plug the windows installation USB when the PC boots up and that will override the Linux OS or do I have to delete Linux first?
