The product is pretty good, it's just that the marketing is poorly done and it's being overpowered by a couple of brands that were in the business earlier.

The current price is a good deal, 1000Wh Power Station &110W solar panel totaling only $899.

It has a test report from ANZ Electrical Compliance, which complies with (AS/NZS 4763:2011) and (AS/NZS 61000.6.3:2012; ACMA).Certificate No.: R23001, this is available on the official website. Besides that, it has UN38.3 and MSDS test report.

      • Yard Force 1200W Solar Power Station $299 ($269.1 after 10% Member Discount) + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ Mitre 10

        • @JakDac you deleted the wrong post :D

      • Why does the Australian version only have 2 plugs whereas the picture shows 3?

        • The 3 plugs are for the US version, the Australian version is 2 plugs. Thanks.

      • Please feel free to buy

It's a shame you increased the price to $899 from ~$749/769 previously.

        • It's good to see you again. Previously it was a Black Friday sale and we were actually marketing at a loss. Now we've just moved the prices to a more reasonable range. And even then, we're still not making a profit. You can compare our prices for the same products (except for the freebies because the shipping is already higher than $250). Thanks.

      • Please feel free to buy.

I am uncomfortable with your Terms which bind my purchase to the laws of China. I do not feel free at all.

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of China.

        • Thanks for the feedback. We have a local service team and all laws and regulations will adhere to Australian standards. This is the basic guideline for selling in Australia. Thank you.

      • It is free to buy? That is great news. What is the code to get it for free???

Mitre 10 one was $269. Thats my new benchmark for Lipo. Add $100 for solar panel so $369

  • The Tera can run multiple heavy-duty appliances at once, bringing the creature comforts of home outdoor.

I'm a little confused by this statement. There is a picture with someone standing next to a toaster and your statement implies multiple heavy-duty appliances but it's only 1,000Wh which to me isn't enough to run a toaster.

Can it really run multiple heavy-duty appliances at once with its 10 power outlets?

    • +2

1000Wh is the capacity, not the output.

Says it can do 250v at 10amps, so theoretically can deliver 2500 watts constant.

    • +2

1000WH is 1000 Watt Hours, meaning it can run a 1000 Watt load for 1 hour.

It doesn't state the inverter wattage here or in their sales page which concerns me, but a normal toaster is about 800W, so if this thing is truly doing 250V 10A X Two plugs, (5000W), it can easily handle a toaster.

That being said things like a toaster being resistive loads are the easiest for crappy inverters to run as they don't care how clean the power is.

I'd try running something like a circular saw or other big power tool off this and see if it really can handle the big loads they claim.

      Capacity (Wh) 1043.9
      Inverter power continue (W) 1200
      Inverter power surge (W) 2400
      .
      Look for a low-power toaster, under 1200W.

      • +1

Thank you so it can't run any heavy duty appliances at all but only low-power ones. That's the information I was looking for.

  • 250V 10A

If this is true, this thing can power literally anything in my house…..right?

    Including heaters?

    • +1

Max continuous output power is 1200W.

    • The total power of the appliance determines how long it will be used, and it is not a complete replacement for all appliances in your home. However, it can be used as a back-up power source to solve a temporary problem. If you take it outdoors, it will be a good assistant.

Not exactly but looks a bit like the Mitre 10 $269 deal got one GREAT buy worked on my microwave

    70mai
Running 1000 cycles to 70% capacity, the Tera is extremely long-lasting and can support around 5 years of use. 2 year warranty

    Bluetti -
3,500 life cycles, 5 year warranty

    ecoflow -
    3000 times. 5 year warranty

its cheaper but for a reason. Info to consider

    • +1

Thanks for the feedback. However, too long a warranty and too many battery cycles is pointless. Even if you cycle the battery on average 3 days, it would take 8 years to charge it enough for 1000 cycles. Although they warranty it for 5 years, the high price is enough for you to buy another new one instead of taking it in for repair.
I hope my thoughts will help you.Thanks.
