Looks like we're in for a wild coffee market in 2025 as prices surged again hitting a 52 year price high, and the AUD has dropped to $0.627 USD (in October it was as high as $0.691), which is an additional "oh nooo" moment because coffee is traded in USD. Anyway the good news is we've still got some contracted coffee we got at slightly less wild price (yet still a with a little wildness to them relatively speaking to prices earlier this year), so we're going to keep prices as stable as we can for as long as we viably can and hope things calm down a bit before we need to contract new coffee. Given the Christmas holiday's next week, we'll only be dispatching on Monday next week, as delivery companies will reduce pick ups thereafter for the rest of the week so we're keen to get the good stuff out the door before they start to slow down next week due to the public holidays :)

We're offering you a 40% discount off our much loved Moments to Memories Blend, only $26.70 per 1kg (usually $44.50 per 1kg) and only $15.75 per 500g (usually $26.25 per 500g)

Deal valid for orders placed until 24/12/2024, unless sold out before. Dispatch can happen for you as near as Monday and as far as the last Thursday in December (27/02/2025). Once a given dispatch date is at full capacity the green circle will be removed and date will turn red, first in best dressed :)

Some helpful info:

  • You're welcome to place multiple orders scheduled for dispatch at various dates (delayed dispatch) to make the most of this deal, we strive to dispatch our fresh coffee within 48 business hours of roasting

      We do a light roast for some coffees, but in response to general demand most of our coffees we roast as a medium omni roast :)

        Thanks for the info, need sometimg light for my pourovers. Since using the v60 switch, being able to utilise percolation along with an immersion phase, enables you to play around with time use multiple temperatures in the immersion phase is a game changer in helping optimise for floral and citrus notes, however you really need lighter roasts to be able to get the right type of extraction.

        If Lime blue can do a couple of lighter roasts, the pourover customers would be a bit more inclined to purchase especially in the summer when you can enjoy your coffee iced or even room temeperature if the fruity notes are there.

      If you have an Aldi near you, their Medium or Dark Roast beans are the best beans money can buy. Still prefer LimeBlue but Aldi beans are awesome.

    How fresh does this stay if unopened and frozen? I unfortunately cant get through 3kg myself (to qualify for free shipping) very quickly!

        @Kibbelhs is spot on (thank you for your helpful answer support) @Sestrooper and you can keep it fresh more than a year if you pre-portion and vacuum seal prior to freezing and if you have a super-duper freezer that can get as cold as -40°C you're able to virtually stop the oxidation process in it's tracks and keep the coffee fresh for an infinite amount of time (theoretically speaking)!

        p.s. you could always just simply split the order with someone you know or gift some of the order away :)

      I'd say it's in the low-medium category, so there is a bit of a gentle acidity kick, but I def wouldn't say it's notably sour, which would indicate a high acidity kick :)

    Do NOT use Couriers Please. My last order was shipped Dec 2nd from Melb > Qld. It is still languishing in SA and I had to buy some other beans to tie me over.

    No fault of Lime Blue’s, but BTW; they were timely and I’ll consider to buy from them. But considering logistics is worse now, go with a better postal service than Couriers Please.

      Hey @ilikeit shucks that sounds like a mini disaster!!!

      Reading in between the lines I'd say it's more dyer than a slow delivery, it's more likely lost. When you get a sec please send a reply email to your tracking info email, we'll look into it for you and if it is in fact lost (which I think it is) then we'll send a replacement to you at super speed. This crazy season both Couriers Please and Australia Post are neck and neck in the competition of who will make the most delivery fumbles; my goal is no one wins because there's no delivery issues, but I know that may be wishful thinking. Right now the two companies are averaging a bit under 1% of orders having delivery issues this busy season. I really to appreciate your patience and understanding!
