6-19mm sockets as per gearwrench website

  • That's an incredible price for a 120 tooth ratchet set.

  • Can be a good way to get some rare-sized 6-7mm sockets for your 3/8 ratchet handles, too.

At some point though, value has to improve as vendors stop including combined SAE sizes!

Most of us that need imperial already have it, and those that don't don't want it. Surely no manufacturers in the US still use SAE, even trucks? Surely they have gone metric by now. Sure can't imagine Tesla using SAE fasteners.

  • Sorry am novice in these tools section. I want to build my tool set to tinker around my vehicles. Keep getting confused around all the 1/4, 1/2 and 3/8 and Metric/SAE etc. If I buy this, can I just buy socket bits for 3/8 and 1/4ths or do I need to buy entire set again like this one? - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B009PJPGR4?ref=emc_s_m_5_i_atc&…

This set is pure 3/8, so yes if you want to use 1/4 sockets you will need to buy a 1/4 ratchet.

Gearwrench also sell bigger “master” sets that cover 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 in a single set. These are usually more expensive.
