    Could think of nothing worse than being stuck on a 18 night cruise with Americans. Always keen for an escape plan when I'm stuck with them. Two of the better cities though.

      San Francisco was the biggest dissapointment of any city i have ever been to i think. The homeless and drugs alone were appauling.

        Ahhh, that's fair actually. I have a lot of extended family that live in The Bay Area & Silicon Valley who look after me. I forget that everyone else's experience would be wildly different to mine. San Francisco itself is terrible, as is Los Angeles (as are most of the major cities in USA). One of my cousins worked at Berkeley and the surrounding areas of that area is beautiful.

      I think this is fair, unless you’re super into American culture.
      My last ex Miami cruise was MSC and it was majority yanks with a heavy spattering of South Americans (Brazil, Colombia, etc). Did not love the vibe at all.
      A week later we were on a British ship out of Barbados and it was sooooo much better.

    About to start a Caribbean cruise from Ft Lauderdale and also visiting Miami over Xmas/NY, booked through Accor Plus Discovery, works out to be 25-33% less then advertised price with their BOGOHO offer.

    Anyone who says "can't stand Americans" is a hater for sure…
