  • hmm i wonder if the 178 bose is better - this has bt 5.2 and longer battery

    • Really hated their predecessor.

Xm4, bathys and I'm sure the $178 boses i havent opened must be better than the revamped mid to low tier sonys

      • yeah but that bose is to be honest, very old tech. yes anc is good. but other than that… its equivalent with xm3 i guess. no wear sensor, old bt, no codec…
disclaimer, i bought the bose too. only because cheap…

        • same here, ANC is good, but sound quality, prefer MX4, sony app does better job than Bose IMO.
bought that for same reason and ANC only. great for long flight.

          • @samedream: Yeah i feel sad that bose was able to rip off Australian by selling that at $499

  • Hows the ANC of those lower tier?

  • I have these, the XM3's and the Anker Space Ones. These are the worst noise cancelling. If you can get the Ankers for about this price i would go for them.

  • +1

Thanks OP, ordered a pair. $113 with perks.
