Alternatively, you could go for Amazon refurbs that have batteries >=80%

      Amazon refurbs

Just highlighting that they aren't shipped, sold by or refurbished by Amazon.

Amazon has brazenly "deleted" all their low reviews! Sort of.
It claims 100% 4 and 5 star reviews, but if you filter on 1,2,3 star, you see what customers really think, with overstrike. Beware Amazon.

Emailed and also left a voicemail for the supplier regarding an issue with the laptop. It's been several weeks and I haven't heard back. I'll be returning the laptop. I've used HT over the decades but this isn't the same HT as I knew them. I don't expect them to handle any warranty in a timely fashion and so won't be buying anything from them any more.

Do not buy this Bought this in preparation for my WFH setup as my company uses surface devices come the day I am setting up from WFH the dock and charging hub do not power on at all. I tried multiple sockets and switched cables. This “refurbished” good is a scam buyer beware I understand refurbished goods always have a chance to be of poorer quality but this does not work peroid

    • Buyer should take note of that. I bought an item, sold by ht but shipped by amazon and had to return the item and the seller to replace the unit. Overall it took over a month for the seller to send a replacement. It looks like ht's default courier is aramex and dealing with them is a mess.

    • If this HT is Harris Technology - they are horrible.

      • Hi, I can’t seem to send you a message. I’ve just bought a laptop from this company (waiting to receive it) - can you advise more on your comment above? Just wondering if I should cancel the order?

Ordered brand new Seagate IronWolf drives from them - both came as old stock with just half the warranty period remaining after checking the serial numbers with Seagate. One of the drives was also dead on arrival. Was able to return both after a lengthy ordeal with their CS team.

Second time, I foolishly ordered a refurb ThinkPad that they described as in very good, almost-new condition. Laptop arrived in a dismal state with the trackpad all but completely worn out. The specs on the listing were also inaccurate. They accepted the return with no arguments because they knew they misrepresented their listing.

I am convinced they are not a good seller for both "brand new" and refurb items, but I may have just been very unlucky with them.
