I guess most of the original RRP goes to Delter's R&D, because (please correct me if I'm wrong) $150 for a glass beaker & 3 layers of plastic seems insane.

there's a metal filter and a few other bits, but yeah. like how they charge $100k for a car with $50 worth of steel in it.

  • Is it discontinued?

    • No, not discontinued at all. We are just completely over stocked

  • Is the top, where the hot water goes, made from plastic?

Delter Cold Drip is designed for cold water only

      • Cheers

      • Is room temperature water OK?

        • +1

Yes but definitely recommend cold water / refrigerating after setting it up

  • Just a heads up for anyone looking for something similar but with more of a visual "wow" factor on their kitchen bench they have the dripster for pre-order with eta mid to late december:

    https://alternativebrewing.com.au/products/dripster-cold-bre…

It's more than twice the price though, so the delter will do me fine - I don't have many guests anyway.

  • Currently using this for my cold drips. Sufficient for few days of consumption and easy to clean

  • how is this compared to mizudashi

    • Here is a great breakdown;

Immersion cold brewing is excellent for you if you’re looking for a forgiving hands-off method that you can start and come back to the next day. These brewers are affordable, simple to use, and can produce a very concentrated form of cold brew that can be used to make iced coffee, iced cold brew lattes, and other creative drinks.

Drip cold brewing is great for you if you’re interested in a hands-on method that can give you rich and balanced cold brew coffee in just a few hours. These brewers require more tinkering, but they’re beautiful to watch, rewarding to use, and produce a less intense, yet still versatile, cold brew coffee concentrate.

  • Hi rep @AlternativeBrewing, is there any differences between the following other than the colour?

    Thanks.

  • Hi rep @AlternativeBrewing sorry another question on other products. Would you prefer Trinity Zero over Trinity Zero Z-Pod? Deciding which one to get. Thanks.
