    All gone

  • +7

They just took both listings offline.

  • +7

RIP. Congrats to all who got a key

  • Game Over!

  • I'm stuck in limbo, managed to place an order in time but can't reveal key.

    • +14

So you managed to get the ultra-rare copy of Indiana Jones and The Great Infinite Loading Circle?

    • Someone below said they were able to see the key now?

  • +3

Dammit, I was linking my account and some kid came into the library to borrow a book. By the time that was done the game's not available to purchase anymore. :(

  • +1

They used to let these slide, now they'll just revoke all the issued keys, and offer a discount code of 10% off instead.

    • +2

Last time I had dirt 4 error from Humble, it took 2-3 months at least before steam removed it. So hopefully enough for us to play the game lol.

  • +2

Anyone that ordered but couldn't reveal key earlier, mine just worked via https://www.humblebundle.com/home/library

    • +2

I was able to get my key via the HB order is ready email

    • Worked for me too

  • +1

where were you at the ATL of Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, Premium Edition?

since its only the lauch week im going to wait a few months for them to top this

basically pay me to get it!

    /sarcasim. i missed it :(

    • Was at lunch buying tuna and rice :(

  • +4

The one time i go for lunch at a normal time and miss this!

  • +2

This one time I have hypoglycemia and miss this… What a deal..

    • +1

      we didn't ozbargain hard enough

  • +1

Better than the last big Bethesda launch week, when Diablo IV Ultimate edition could be purchased for $44.90.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/778500

That deal was revoked too, and the game was removed from accounts.

    • How long did that one take to get removed out of curiosity?

Wondering if it's even worth downloading.

      • About a week. But that deal was via the Xbox Store not Steam, so I don’t think you can compare.

You should be able to finish Indy in a week.

        • Oh I see.

          Thanks!

      • +2

As I mentioned above, same thing happened with my dirt 4 at humble, price error but took steam 2-3 months they removed it. Just download now and play.

        • Ooooh interesting. And lazy of them :D

  • Managed to get a key and as of now, still on my steam account library. I didn't redeem it straight away, though. Also, got my proof of purchase email from Steam lol.

    • That doesn't stop Steam from revoking the license from an account afterwards. They've done it before on accidental errors from keys obtained from third party sales web sites. It happened to me once when a game publisher accidentally listed a game as free on a game marketplace web site. And then they asked Steam to revoke all the claimed keys.

      • +1

All good mate, been playing for 2 hours+ now. lol

Can tell you, what a game, especially for free. lol

  • +1

Can they revoke if I'm playing it? xD

    • +8

I've got 1 min of playtime, playing through RDP. So I know everything's loaded and working

Now just going to firewall Steam & the game from the internet for a week or so 😅

      • +1

Going to play as much as I can right now, see what happens.

        Maybe go offline mode!

  • +1

Back at $108.48 (for the normal edition) and $154.98 (for the premium edition).

    • +6

      Thanks for the hourly update

  • This has to be an error. As this game was just released.

      story of my life

    • +5

With previous price errors Humble has always had the keys revoked within a few days so you shouldn't feel too bad about it as you didn't really miss out on much here tbh.

If you want to play the game you could always join Game Pass. $1 for the first 14 days. Not free, but at least you'll have 14 days to complete the game.

    • +4

FWIW, the loophole lasted only like 10-15 minutes, I saw this post within that time and by the time I added to cart and tried to checkout, they fixed it already.

  • +1

Deal link now directs now to ..
    404 Error
The page you requested cannot be found

    Keys about to be revoked in .. 1 .. 2 ..

    • +1

You are late to the party by 3 hours lol, can tell you no revoke yet and we're all having a blast. Haha

      • +2

The revoke won't happen straight away. It could be a matter of hours or it could be days.

  • +1

If this stays, i am happy to rip off both Microsoft and IGN (HB owners) at the same time.

Brilliant viral marketing campaign… Intended or not.

Anyone buying the game now? I'm pretty pimped to play it after reading everyone's glowing reviews

    • +1

Bro so far I'm enjoying it greatly (I've never seen a film). If my key gets revoked I'm picking this up on sale

  • I got it this morning but just activated it. I'm going to download and play it in case it get revoked.

  • +1

Great game! Got it for free with my RTX4080

    • +1

Got it for free with my Humble account

  • +2

Once you download, go off-line. Or block steam and the game from connecting to the Internet.

    • -7

So what you're never going to use Steam online again. What if you have a bunch of other games on Steam which you need to download?. Only way to do that is to go online.

What if you have a sudden system storage drive crash. Need to reinstall Windows again. And so you have to redownload the game. All these what ifs.

      • +11

…think they meant until you're finished with the game

        • This gamer knows ^^^^
just till you're done with the game mate, then go back online so then Steam can do whatever they want, but too late!

        • -5

Your computer could crash before finishing the game. Just saying.

          • +1

@hollykryten: The power could go out too*. Shit happens.

Good thing by setting it to offline mode, when it reboots it won't automatically try to connect and receive the revoked code update.

*Good thing the Deck manages about a little over an hour with this game on a full charge.

    • should make a bootable system image with disabled network drivers

then you can go back online then go back to that system image just for when you want to play this game

super awkward but wonder how long offline until steam complains

    • I've kept it in offline mode, and can still play. Achievements are unlocking as normal, do you know if they will sync to my account once I go online and the steam servers sync that the key is revoked? I wonder if it's worth actually 100% the game or should I just speedrun the story lol

      • They do not sync, only the ones while the key was active

  • +4

    My game was revoked

  • +1

    Steam has now revoked me

  • +1

lol revoked as I was playing it.

Edit: it didn’t actually close the game, and it seems like I can keep playing until I do..

    • i guess now you are doing the marathon to finish in one go

  • Just got a steam alert the game was removed.. ah well got in a few hours

  • +1

    Back to Gamepass I guess.

I got some cards that I sold for about 50 cents atleast, huzzuh!

  • +2

Regardless, this game is on Game Pass. Which you can be had for $1 for a 14-day trial (or $13.95 monthly). 14-days is sufficient time to finish this game.

Got my key yesterday, but it has now been revoked.

  • +1

    Key revoked, ah well.

  • +4

Damn I booted my Steam Deck and got a very angry looking alert about the key being revoked.
Oh well, back to the xbox

  • No surprises there haha

  • -1

is this the part where we band together for a class action law suit?

  • +4

    They revoked it…

  • Anyone else still plodding along in offline mode?

Wrapped up part 1 and got to Gizeh last night. Jumping back in now while the baby naps, let's see how far we can go, team!

    • Go Go go gooooo!

      • In the cutscene at the end of Gizeh now from the trailers (trying to not spoil anything), baby got up about 30 seconds ago, gonna have a whack at it again tonight when he's down. Woop woop!

    • +1

Yep thought it would be a good idea to turn off the wifi on my deck earlier this morning. Turned out to be a good decision, still running at the moment :)

      • +1

Hells yeah brother, I'll race you!

Reckon I can get another hour or two in tonight but tomorrow we've got a gig in the city and then the day after is also booked up. I'll be relegated to bed time hour or so seshes.

Gonna be gutted if it needs an online checkin or something when I'm like 90% done.

        • How'd it run on the deck?
