@theguyrules: Ran perfectly well, no real issues in gameplay to report. I had been on and offing it for a few days and the only thing I clocked was a line or two of dialogue near the very end from the bad guy that was a little out of sync with the mouth movements but it caught right back up after he shut up. This happens here and there when using the deck's sleep mode though so I'm not fussed at all.
I had the green eye bug (which I've heard was fixed in the first patch but I didn't download for obvious reasons), and all photos in game, when you were looking in your journal, when you had them out for a puzzle, even when you handed one to another character in real time were completely black (https://postimg.cc/CRd7pqGm) … Other than that there was one weird thing that I don't know if it was the deck, the settings, or by design (I doubt it) but every time the scene would swap cameras in a cutscene, there'd be a full screen flash of black for like a fraction of a second, but EVERY time the camera swapped characters / spots / whatever.
A small price to pay for a game that literally paid me (trading cards), but ideally it's patched out by now anyway.
Overall it ran fine. Low key ugly as (profanity) at times, tree textures in particular could be absolute arse but it ran fine.
Nice one, haven't had much time lately. Doing the trials in the Vatican at the moment.
@messiah1095: I knocked off a couple of the sidemissions in bed tonight from the Vatican too. Glad I didn't instantly close the game when I finished it like usual. Don't know if I'll bother to try and 100% the achievement list, but it certainly would amuse me to keep it in offline mode, paused for weeks.
yeah revoked. My poor 2080 Super wouldn't of been worth it for offline mode. Might wait till 5000 series to grab the game. I have Gamepass and refuse to install it on PC. Might have to touch the Series X version.
I got a 2080 Super too. I'm running everything on Medium and it runs really smoothly.
This game runs smoothly on Series S. I’d say go for it.
yeah i should play it on Series X. i have really not been utilizing Gamepass the past year and i don't want it to go to waste.
