Tried price match with JB, OOS in all EB Game stores where I am at and on official website, then found out it is available on their eBay store with delivery fee, free for eBay Plus members.

    let's be honest. $199 should be the RRP… $469? come on, you can literally buy a whole PS5 for that price when it's on sale.

      Pricings are weird on some things..

      I bought a 1tb M.2 for $50. And a simple USB C case for it was $30..

      Considering the amount of research, science and technology that goes into making ssd hard drives. It makes no sense that a thin aluminium case with soldered wires costs almost as much as the M.2…??

        Pricings are weird on some things..

        Lots of modern "gamers" are pretty ignorant. In the 80s/90s/00s people who played games were generally nerdy and techincal. Not so much now days…

        Eg. SanDisk get away with charging extra for Micro SD Cards simply by whacking on Nintendo branding.

        If something is marketed as 'for gamers' there's a good chance you're over paying (at RRP).

    It's not cheap for an SSD but considering it has a heatsink and you don't have deal with the typical PC shop service it's alright. EB games is pretty good for warranty.

      I'm guessing it's actually out of stock everywhere it's just these store front are probably slower to update stock levels.

      It's unlikely EB are going to have different stock set aside for differnt stores.

      If you're ordering at this point I'd be bracing for cancelled orders.
