"May not be suitable for everyone." At 4 grand, yeah I shouldn't think so.

Do you have any deals for Klipsch 8000's

    • +2

Klipsch isn't a brand we sell.

  • That's a lot of bass

    • That's a deep thought…

      • Haha beat me to it

        • +1

You guys are clearly on the same wavelength

  • Amazing bass

The subwoofer looks like it means business!!!

I was planning to move out of Mum's basement with all the money I saved for the last 20 years but then I decided to buy this subwoofer instead. Now I am not a popular guy with the ladies, but once I brought a couple of my Warhammer buddies home to see this new subwoofer hooked up to my 32" TV, they told their friends, who told their friends, and now I have been the talk of the neighbourhood.
I quickly got the reputation of being "that guy with the sub", all the ladies on my block want to come over to watch TV and hang with me.
Dont get me wrong, most of them are toothless Logan meth heads, but if you look like me, you take what you can get. This subwoofer is highly recommended if you want to change your life for the better.

    • Hrmm.. not sure if real post or troll post…

      • +3

        A troll wouldn't upvote a deal 👌🏻

        • Ok, ya got me! Take my money!

    • +1

thebargainhunter, that was truly funny, I literally laughed out loud. Thanks.

    • +2

Now I know you are lying.

If this were true, you wouldn’t be the talk of the neighbourhood, as they wouldn’t be able to hear themselves talk over all that bass….and if you were in Logan, someone would have already stolen this monster and used it to jack up a car while they knocked the wheels off it.

    • Nice. With a little more time in sure your parents will move out too.

  • was hoping for a deal on the PB2000pro, but missed out on the sale a few weeks back that had them around the $1600-1700 price point

Perfect with movie Black Hawk Down?

    • Fury sounds awsome!

      • OK. What other movies with really deep rumble? 🤔

        • Sisu

        • Yes Fury is good. Dunkirk is another good one.

        • Blade Runner 2049 from 00:00:00 | Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones: opening scene | Ready Player One, The First Challenge: 00:12:24

        • Dark City

Dune 1 and 2, Top Gun:Maverick, Any of the John Wick Movies, 13 Hours: Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, Tron:Legacy, 1917.. are some other good movies which have great accurate bass.

    • Nice choice … best audio i have ever experienced at the cinema.

SVS subs don't make much economic sense now in Australia. Tonewinner (now being sold by selby) are much better value as are the RSL Speedwoofer subs (being sold direct from their website). SVS are great subs, for sure…but they just don't come close to competing anymore.

    • +2

I agree… take a look at the Tonewinner SW-D900. Holy smokes I am scared even looking at it.

Dayamnnn!! .. and they say size don't matter. I think I'd need to reinforce the house if I had one of those.

    • It seems the D4000 is the equivalent to PB2000pro. Do you have any experience with it?

      • +1

        No, but I have the D8000 (https://www.selby.com.au/price-promise/tonewinner-sw-d8000-s…)

Got it for $2 600 (just asked for a discount and got it no questions asked). Insane value for money ratio on these subs. Used to run a dual-sub set-up with SVS 1000 Pros, but traded for a single D8000 to save space and get a bit more output (like listening at reference levels in a big home theatre room).

It's something to do with shipping costs from China to Aus, but I believe the Tonewinners are actually cheaper here than they are in the USA.

      • I got the SW-D6000 15" 800W for $1699 shipped (pre-order price). You could probably easily get a few hundred off the currenlty listed $1999 if you just ask or wait for festive season sales.

Was available well before the D8000 and decided not to wait, as front firing driver in the D6000 suits my available space better than the side-firing D8000.

Two of them would be sublime, but one only is still more than enough to rattle my windows and teeth in my medium sized setup. Amazing depth and performance for the price. Not sure I could even fit in a D9000 in the space I have, but the D6000 at price I got it for seemed sweet spot for price & performance.

Take it with a grain of salt, but one of the reviews on Selby, reckons even the D6000 could give the highest end SVS offerings a run for their money.

When Sandra bought her SVS PB4000, she thought it would add a little bass to her Friday night movie marathons. What she didn’t expect was the avalanche of joy and success it would bring into her life. Suddenly, her living room concerts had the power to vibrate her cat off the couch, her neighbors started baking her cookies (probably to keep the bass-loving beast appeased), and her friends dubbed her “DJ Boom Mom” despite her childless lifestyle. As the deep, thundering beats shook the walls, they seemed to shake up the universe too—she got a raise at work, won a raffle she didn’t even remember entering, and a cute guy from three blocks away knocked on her door to “check on the noise.” Turns out, the subwoofer wasn’t just enhancing sound; it was amplifying her life.

SVS is a decent company. They took care of my sub even after 1 year passed the warranty period with the powerboard being the problem.

  • I see we haven't had a good discount on the pc-4000 since the 50% off deal. What's the best discount you can do on a single or a pair of these?

    • That really was a one off never to be repeated deal, so you won't see a deal close to that ever again. Happy to have a chat about what we can offer if you wanted to private message us, start a chat on the website or give us a call.

  • I bought a PB 2000 Pro during the Black Friday sales and it’s incredible, as soon as you offer them at that price again I plan on buying a second one
