Correct me if I'm wrong. Generally, you can score $1.10/hr parking if you're lucky. and it's between 6-10pm only. after 10pm it's free parking anyway.

Not sure if it's a 'deal'?

    • $1.10/hr in sydney ? … between 6-10pm ? Where?!

I thought the cheapest in City CBD would be about $2.20 , and that would be during the times when it wouldnt be so busy anyway …

  • you mean in Wilsons Parking free , no way , its never free their

You can probably find street metered parking but its always a decent walk from where your going

  • How do you use the voucher when there's no parking attendant?

    • im guessing you book online
and living social email you a coupon code to enter while you book

    • when you book online you have to use a credit card for identification purposes. When you enter the carpark you use that card to open the gate(you don't take a ticket) and you use the same card to exit.
The only inconvenience is that you must put an enter and exit time when you prebook, and there is additional fees in case you don't enter/exit those times(there is a "grace" period of 1 hour).
I booked mine for $10 Saturday 10 days ago at sussex street, darling park, 18:30-23:30 but i left at 00:30 and i had to pay an extra $5.50.Also half carpark is reserved space for the companies(PWC etc) you are only allowed to park at the public car park but i spent 30 minutes to find a spot. Apparently they don't close the carpark when it's full and everyone parks their car "illegaly"

      • I always book the exit time as the very latest you can for the applicable rate. Never been penalised for leaving many hours earlier than the "booked" time.

  • this deal is for online booking only. i used it once before, it's not bad. just make sure to bring the correct credit card! basically you can arrive 1+/- hour of your booking time, and since you have to pay extra if you stay longer than your booked period, just book the maximum hour. e.g. the car park closes at 11pm, just book 'til 11pm then, it's still alright if you leave at 8pm.

What happens if I arrive earlier than my Booking entry time?

Unless otherwise specified by the product selected, you will have a 1 hour grace period prior to and after your Booking entry time to allow for unexpected traffic conditions. If you enter the car park outside of your booking period, and grace period, you will be charged the standard casual rates as displayed at the car park in addition to your online parking and booking fees.

  • Most central Sydney CBD street parking is now $3 per hour 6-10pm hence $5 is ok. Are these vouchers you can use anytime or do you have to lock in times at purchase?

    • No, you don't have to decide now. Buy the voucher, receive a coupon code, and use that when you're ready to make a booking.

  • how far in advance do you need to book the spot online? can you book with less than 12 hours notice before your 'in' time?

  • Is this for ALL day parking? I couldn't see the time anywhere?
    Cheers.
