What's the difference between pro series and X? Have been thinking of getting something for my three year old - are beyblades toddler friendly or don't bother until older?
My four year old still has dramas getting a good launch sometimes , but when he does he thinks is awesome
For a 3 year old, get the old beyblade burst. They can hurt themselves with both the pro and especially x as it's all metal.
A 3 year old will probably have problems launching though, but he will probably enjoy seeing you sending them flying
Edit: I've even hurt to myself on x as an adult. It's pretty crazy and even with the enclosed stadium, they still go flying outside sometimes. I'm surprised they went back to metal, but it's definitely fun
Edit: for older kids, definitely get x instead of pro. The beys are more plain and boring looking unfortunately, but the battles are much more fun

Any of the beyblade burst is fine, they are all compatible. Including the one you linked, even though that's a fancy one with a motor or something. You can often find them very cheap on clearance.
The manufacturer recommends this product is for ages 8 years and up. Beyblade Pro and X are different series released in succession.

If it’s their first ones, you might want to grab one of the plastic stadiums too ($10, maybe $15 at a large department store toy section) so they have a place to battle together.

I mean, they don't.. I think they were $25 or maybe $29 at Kmart (which is expensive enough). But they are not sold anymore.
Beyblade X is lots more fun too, so unless you specifically know that you want these, just get beyblade x. They are 2 for $25 I think normal price before any sales.
