    Seems it has issues
    " looks great, it's a good make and so I bought it, but after 6 months the soft closing lid mechanism would not stay closed and so we visited the store and were given a replacement.
    Four months later the ‘glass' lid on this replacement kettle cracked and the ‘glass’ also blistered around the edges"

      We have something similar and it does have issues with cracking. We had one that cracked after using it a few times so we took it back and got a new one. The CSO kicked up a stink but we did get a new one. The one we are on now has cracks in it as well but we've been using it for quite a few years now. It isn't the best look but I don't think it's unsafe.

    hahaha, I just got one from Kmart last year….about $30…that replaced on from Target from about 15 years ago. They looked good and worked perfectly.
