upgraded mine from blue compass, absolutely love it, it stays anywhere you put it for the mics i use (rode caster and EM-91C). the problem i had with blue is sometimes it is hard to keep the mic down if the mic isnt too heavy. i paired it with this Mini Tripod Ball Head to allow full range of motion of the mic if somehow your mic and the mic mount has limits pic.

the only con i can say is the big while fonts on the arm if you want to keep it subtle.

If they've made it less squeaky compared to the original version then it'll be good, also my non+ version's base busted open since it's a plastic housing after about 3ish years of use.
