Not sure if it's new customers only, if it is please reply here or @ me and I'll edit the title.

    Anything for Wifey?

  • +6

    Atlast, something free for hubbies

    • +2

      I didn’t.

      • -7

Well, I wasn’t talking about you was I
It’s amusing to see so many uptight people around here.

    • +1

I’m still trying to comprehend the N.
      Is the hidden message:

      Free pirating SIM

      or is it:

      Free pirate and SIM

      Yar. I be confused still.

      • Free pira, ten sim!

  • 5.52 euro for 500mb of data in Asia.. cool

  • +1

bit of a rip off if paying

  • +7

"global" as in you have to pick a region for your esim somewhere on the globe? a bit misleading..

    • +2

That's fair, I'll edit the title.

  • Do you get a number that can be used for alt accounts? Uber etc?

    • Would also like to know

    • No. Data only

  • Do you need app for the purchase?

  • Used Jetpac in Bali recently, was 5G getting 60mb speed was happy with it, can get a 10gig pack at the moment for cyber Monday for $14.95aud , 30 days, 12 months to activate

  • What country does it route through?

    • The country you pick

  • For travellers to the Americas (Canada, USA, Mexico) you can get 90% off 1 GB with the promo code: americas
It's 0.70 euros which works out at about $1.15 AU and is a separate eSIM in your account

  • Do they need personal info for those travel sims?

    • +3

Nope as you don't get a phone number (data only)

  • Imported in the eSIM on iPhone and it keep saying activating… is that normal?
    I am travelling next month

    • For me on a pixel it didn't install automatically, when installing manually with copy and paste code it says "can't connect to network, something went wrong with your sim, to fix the issue contact your operator"
Actually maybe it did install. I have an esim called 'connect' which could be it. Not the name in the instructions but I can't recall installing it previously.

      • On iPhone I can’t see anyway to get the address to allow us install manually. Unless anyone know where it is on the app

        • They hide it really well on android, you have to click the help link on the QR screen to get to it.

      • same issue on pixel, no connect esim

        • My connect esim is quite possibly an old one I forgot about, might have copied across from my old phone. It has SUN and IOIO in the apn settings which doesn't seem to match Hubby

          • @md333: I had a connect eSIM show up on my pixel as well, it stayed on "activating" and didn't install automatically too. I couldn't do it manually. I used another promo code and another connect sim popped up so it has to be it. Both say status - installed in the app. I guess I'll find out when I try to activate them overseas

            • @Phulaphect: Just wondering even activating now it will expire in 1 year?

              • @eecchhoo: That's what I'd like to know. I've asked further down the comments but no reply

            • +1

@Phulaphect: Good to know. I'll try it out in January from Singapore.

    • In the past I've done a quick reboot of the phone and it usually finished the activation.

  • +1

There are currently virtually no use cases for 5G for mobile devices.

    Disagree.

  • Where can I see the list of countries that are included in "Europe" ?

    • +1

      It's on their home page.

      Europe
Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Andorra, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Malta, Monaco, Portugal, San Marino, Slovenia, Spain, Vatican City, Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Liechtenstein

      • They do a good job of hiding it. I can find a list of countries under "FAQ" on the home page, I'm guessing that is where the sim for that region works, but it doesn't seem to explicitly say so anywhere.

      • Thanks!!

  • Does any one know if the data is valid from the day the promo code is used or is it from the day that it is activated (when you arrive in the country you've nominated)?

  • anyone managed to install the eSIM?

    • eventually…….

  • This promo code has been used up

    • yes same error. not working for me.

  • Ozbargained

  • The code still valid. Try again.. I can used it at 11:30PM.

  • Seems they took away the Asia region esim

    • You can still access it, but you just have to search for it - the default list of suggestions doesn't show everything!

  • +3

I can't get the app to work after applying the code. When I click on a country nothing happens.

  • +3

Me too, click a country. Nothing happens

  • +2

Me too, click on country nothing happens

  • +2

Me too, click on country nothing happens

    • ditto

  • Doh! I just bought a 2gb roamless esim for my watch7 😢
Anyone know when this coupon expires and if I get it now I can activate it later in the year?

  • +2

Me too, click on country nothing happens

  • +2

Can't get this to work at all.

Download the app, enter the Promocode and sign up. It then takes me back to picking a country and just stays there. Is there only certain countries the code works with? I'm selecting Japan.

Tried both connecting to Google account as well as signing up with email and both behave the same - loop on country picker

    • Same here!

      • Cannot find my account despite verifying via an email / empty coloured box combo…..

  • +3

They need a new IT team. The verification email was sent with link in blank buttons, the app made me in a loop of [promo code, login and select country]…

    • They say their engineering team are working on it….busy night in the Netherlands it seems.

  • +1

    cant select a country

  • It seems like you have to choose a country right after applying the code.
Haven’t made up my mind yet about the next Easter destination!

    • still won't work you just get a loop asking to select a country and then re enter the code….

    • +1

Once signed in or account is created you'll then end up in a select country loop.

  • +2

terrible… doesnt get past country picker

    • +2

i dont understand why deal gets upvoted when they say they're having issues

      • The deal is OK….just the tech has imploded. Fixing may get expensive…🤑

      • +1

It was working fine earlier and that’s why people upvoted it.

        • +1

hehe i saw one comment above with it not workingbut upvoted, so wasnt sure why

  • There engineering team is aware of a melt down and are working on it…….🤔

  • +1

I messaged their customer support and told them my looping issue which they advised they are aware of the issue and working on it. In my case, I am traveling to China later this month and the customer support provided me with a different code, which worked. I am now signed up and activated.

    • Also tried another code they supplied ……no luck. They are talking 24 > 48 hours at the moment……

  • Are you suppose to activate before you travel?

  • The loop is looping - on the app after entering code I’m getting stuck in a loop. Hopefully gets fixed today so I can redeem!

  • Same issue here,
Hi 👋I hope you're doing well! Just wanted to let you know that we're aware of the issue you've reported. Our engineering team is on it and working to resolve it as quickly as possible. 🚀We'll keep you updated and get back to you as soon as we have more information. Thanks for your patience and understanding! 🤗

I personally wouldn’t risk solely using them overseas. Best to have a back up sim

    • with their track record a wise decision

  • I've been using the free data from Eskimo esim so far no problems in China. It also seems to have a vpn built into it so nothing is blocked. Hopefully we can get to try this Hubby esim.

  • waiting

  • Can anyone confirm, if i can active the esim today, even though i am travelling overseas after a week?

    • They instructions are to install now and activate upon arrival….

  • Tried on two phone not working not able to buy at all
