  • Looks like it is out of stock.

Also, I think this price was only available to eBay plus members.

they have been putting stock up every now and then for the last hour or two, keep checking back even if it sells out.

Got myself a box for 167, more reliable than buying them at my local coles if they ever have stock

  • Is there anything innately special about booster boxes (e.g. guaranteed hits or something) vs just buying raw single packs if the packs are cheaper?
e.g. hypothetically if a store was selling packs individually for $5, then buying 36 packs would be cheaper than a booster box price of say, $182, then is it worth the $2 extra for whatever reason?

    • Depends what packs they are selling. If they are individual booster packs then I am always skeptical of them. If they are individual booster blisters (inside another cardboard sleeve) then that is fine.

The problem is finding booster blisters for cheaper than a booster box. It really depends on how many packs you want and how much you want to spend.

Me personally I've been buying individual booster blisters from my local coles (if they ever have them in stock) as they are usuall $6 a pack which isn't great but it's convenient if it's there. The last week coles have had the packs for $4.80 also. I bought this box as well because they rarely have stock and I wanna crack some packs and Twilight Masquerade is my bag, baby.

Target had a sale on them a few weeks ago at $5 a pack, free shipping over $60 and they had a $10 newsletter coupon you could use which brought them down further and I got about 24 of them or so.

Further onto your question as far as I'm aware english boosters dont have anything special unlike japanese boosters which have less cards per pack do have guaranteed pull rates so never buy loose japanese boosters as they are almost certainly leftovers after the guaranteed pulls have been found. It doesn't mean there isn't a good pull it just means the chances are very low since it is more predictable

      • yeah so EB had the paradox rift for $5 each so I picked up a few of those, seeing the box go for $200+ seems wild since that's over $20 more, but then again at EB they are just pulling out a stack from the drawer and you don't get to choose

good call on the Japanese boosters, I have only gotten bundles so far

    • If the difference is like $2 bucks more I'd still get the booster box, just less random than single packs, you're gonna get a few hits in a box. But if the 36 single packs worked out like 20-30 bucks cheaper than the box I'd just go the singles

      • fair enough, guess it depends on the volume!
