Best Value Travel eSIM Provider

What's the best value for money provider of travel esims for most travel destinations? I've seen many like Saily and Airalo but which would everyone say is the most reliable and provides the best value. Does it differ based on where your going?

Or is getting a roaming pack from say amaysim better?

  • Good question.

Can someone recommend one for the USA and Japan please.

The one that gives you the most call time/data allowance for the least cost.

Check out Travelkon. Great australian sim /esim provider.

Travelkon is the most expensive one that I can find.

Not when there was a 30% off deal — the only thing I bought during the Black Friday weekend.

Black Friday only happens once a year?

  • free ones like this

    YMMV depending on tracking.

  • Depends where you are going, for how long, and how much data you need.

  • I've been doing the 100% CB flexiroam Sims. I pray they will payout. But if not, they weren't much more expensive than a Travelkon sim

  • Are there any data security risk roaming with those non-Australian providers?

You can always use VPN to add another layer of security.

  • It really depends on what you're looking for. When I travel, I usually check how easy it is to set up, whether it has customer support, and if there’s a top-up option. Higher quality eSIMs often have this one installation feature, where you download the eSIM once and can use it for all trips, just by purchasing a plan on their website or app. The pricing aspect is also very important to me. I don't know if you use Reddit, but a lot of people discuss eSIMs there as well. For example, I like to check this best travel eSIM list (https://www.reddit.com/r/best_eSIM_providers/comments/1984tv…). Last time I checked, it had both Saily and Airalo listed, so you can compare which one offers the best value for you.

    • I went to your link, and could see the message. However when I tried to access the 'table' it said I could not.
Is that any way to overcome that 'block'? I am in Sydney.

      • I just checked and it works. I saw a comment that it didn't work a few days ago, but I think they fixed it.

  • I've used Holafly for Japan recently and was happy

Also bought a T-Mobile sim off amazon for USA (Hawaii) and was happy with that too
