  Bugger! I need to get out more (and act faster, apparently). I didn't even realise solar powered cameras were viable yet. But now I know, I want in.

  I've always leaned towards wired systems that don't require an outlet at the point of install i.e. PoE powered cams, given their improved stability and security. This is a good enough deal and the convenience factor is high enough to have me rethinking this.

  Only problem with these is when you speak to an unwanted guest/intruder the voice comes out German 'Verschwinde von meinem Vorgarten'

  I have 2 of these running in stand-alone mode (they won't pair with my home base 2). The timezone keeps resetting to Sydney after a few hours.
