    I downloaded it overnight and got "Decompression error. Pre-decompression error" obviously when it has tried to unpack. Wont let me resume the download either. Will have to do some reading, and possibly find where the temp files are located before unpacking. If only they had a Steam-like "Repair" function.
    Hopefully just coincidence. Possibly not though :-(.

    Edit: Also, when I look at the "More Info" for Far Cry 3 Deluxe Edition I get:

    Territory: North America (US and Canada)
    Sorry, this item is not available in your region.

    Perhaps they should have checked this when purchasing? ;-)

    I bet you it was only supposed to be Far Cry 1 & 2 for $8.22 and Far Cry 3 wasn't meant to be in the bundle. That's my guess.

      I suspect that is right. But my order says Far Cry 1, Far Cry 2, and Far Cry Complete Pack (Which is all 3). Of course, only 1 and 2 have appeared in the GameStop App. Emailed their support and waiting to hear back.

          As long as they return the money in a reasonable amount of time i believe they don't need to deliver, as least that is what i was informed when i purchased a lens through an online dealer only to be told the price was incorrect (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/69379)

          I talked to a third year friend studying law, and while he admitted consumer/retail law isn't he's field of expertise, he said there wasn't much to stand on if they returned the money :(

        which is weird when you google farcry complete pack and it always shows 1 and 2. (gamersgate, steam, etc).

    To add FC 3 in your Steam account, go to Library, Games at the top and Add non-steam game

    Browse to the folder installed and into 'bin' folder click on farcry3.exe and add to library

    Upon starting up in Steam, it will launch uPlay, click Play and once the game's loaded in main menu, shift-tab and the Steam overlay will work as normal

    got sick and tired of the crappy gamestop app timing out on me continually, used the download manager from http://www.g2play.net/store/files/public/FC3DM.zip and it works perfectly, 1 hr 40 mins estimated time to completion, maxing my internet connection constantly unlike the gamestop app.

      Really? Update your graphics drivers, maybe that should help. Nvidia released Beta drivers for Far Cry3. There was a bit of instability for me as well. The driver update seemed to have fixed it (fingers crossed).

        Got a 7950 and using the new beta driver which supposedly is optimised specifically for far cry 3.
        Still horrible, horrible performance.

        Good to hear you got it working properly though.

          I still get this weird micro-stutter for some reason. It just doesn't feel as fluid even at 50+ fps. I guess my rig is really ageing. :-S

          1x 1.5TB WD Green (for junk)
          Asus DirectCU II OC GTX 670

          CPU holding it back? Was kinda hoping to hold off till Haswell comes along.

          You have a 670 and a decent CPU clocked at 4GHz, your rig is not aging. It's just the game, many people are experiencing frame lag. Hopefully it's fixed in future drivers. Turned PostFX down to low fixes it a little.

    Wow, get this guys…I contacted Ubisoft support as to why my key was "already in use" and they said it is already registered to someone in Germany. Fantastic.

      I installed the game, and then following the instructions for the "Deluxe Edition DLC" I entered the key in the "Exclusive Content" section, only to receive the same error.

      When I played the game however, it was already the Deluxe Edition. The M700 Predator and the tribal knife was in my inventory list, and the Lost Expeditions missions were available (not to mention many, many white tigers roaming around :-o).

      I'll still contact Ubi to make sure I too don't have a compromised Key. It worked last night, but I don't want it suddenly becoming invalid.

          Update: GameStop support fixed the key issue by replacing the key for me.
          Just send forum admin BMonkey at the URL above a PM with your order details!

        If your key was invalid (you got the same error as me?) then how did you play the game? I have installed it, but cannot play due to the registration lock in uPlay.

        Oh you meant only the DLC key showed up invalid for you? For me it was the main game.

    Played for a couple of hours today, really fun game.

    For me the deluxe bonus content seemed installed already so I just went with it. Anyone else find that their stuff was installed with the game itself? Trying to activate bonus content just gets me a key is already used message.

      At the start of the game, I see the tattoo (shown in this forum) on my right arm, which seems to prove that I already have the DLC installed. I didn't see any special multiplayer weapons unlocked though?

    hey how's far cry 3 and 2 and 1 going for everyone ? is it working ? anyone get an error when trying to log into Uplay, where it says: "There's no internet connection, you need one to play". I have an internet connection.
