Just got notified by IsThereAnyDeal that Cyberpunk 2077 is on sale for $40.47 at the Humble Bundle Store. This is a DRM-free copy that needs to be redeemed via GOG.

Looking at the GOG site, you should be able to download and install the game without the launcher
I've played Cyberpunk via GOG on the Steam Deck - it works. Use Heroic launcher.
Performance might not be as good as running through Steam, not 100% sure
if its on GOG it should be DRM free, so shouldn't it be possible for you to install on any random windows machine then copy the game files to Steam Deck? However, you need to ensure the game exe is set for Proton compatibility.
Otherwise you can try adding the GOG launcher as a game within Steam.
I’ve installed a bunch of GOG games on my deck. It’s fine and you can just install as a non-steam game but you miss out on stuff like automatic updates and cloud save and achievements and etc.
I’d honestly pay the extra four bucks to get it on Steam when it goes on sale again.
I was hoping it would go on sale for BF, but i'm travelling in 2 weeks to Europe so looking for alternatives :)

I don't understand this mentality. You would rather pay more for more restrictions? In this day and age where you can only buy the PC version of games digitally, it is more important than ever to have a copy that isn't restricted by DRM.

yeah price went up after they cleaned up and released the major DLC

Can it be added to Steam? I've only ever purchased direct from Steam so unsure how third-party issue Keys/Games, I was looking at purchasing for the Steam Deck
